Selena's POV:

"And if X is 3, then what's Y?" I asked Justin hoping he would answer correctly.

"3?" Justin answered.

"That's the easiest one! Alright let's bring it back to 3rd grade.." I said which made Justin chuckle.

"I skipped third grade." He said which made me giggle a little too.

"Okay um so X is 3, so if-" I said but then my phone starting ringing.

"Hey, what do you need?" I asked impatiently into the phone.

"Hey Sel. Can you come to my party?" My best friend, Kylie, asked.

"I'm in the middle of a tutoring lesson, Kylie." I sighed.

"Ugh come on! Scott will be here!" Kylie yelled which instantly️ made me wanna go.

"Justin, um I need to go somewhere so I'll be back in like an hour." I said softly.

"Where? Can I come?" He asked.

"I think it's a party and its at Kylie's house.. She lives really close by." I said.

"A party? Count me in." Justin said and got up.

"No. You weren't invited." I said softly, trying not to be rude.

"I'm still going.. Need a ride?" He asked which made me remember I don't have a ride.

"Ugh okay fine but only because I need a ride!" I said.

* 30 minutes later at the party *

"Sel! And this guy.." Kylie yelled when she saw me.

"This is Justin my.." I said looking at Justin.

"Boyfriend." Justin said which made me look at him.

"Boyfriend?" Me and Kylie both yelled at the same time.

"Yep come on lets go." Justin said and grabbed my hand.

"Boyfriend? You are not my boyfriend!" I yelled when kylie left.

"Yeah but I need to call you that to make the girls here jealous alright?" He said and I shook my head.

Even a minute of a fake relationship with Justin still counts.
