I groaned and grabbed my phone from Justin's table.
3 texts from 'Luke??' 2 missed calls from 'Luke??' 1 text from 'Mom'
Luke? What does he want with me? I don't want to text him cause I barely know him.
I decided to open my mom's text.
"Selena, we are coming home in a month! Are you as excited as me?!"
I was pretty happy, but I like staying at Justin's house a lot.
I went to the bathroom and got ready. I straightened my hair and put on a tank top and jeans.

I walked downstairs with my phone and saw Justin nervously on his phone.
"Hey." He said.
"Hi, are you going somewhere?" I asked. He usually just wears sweats or pajamas but today he actually changed.
"Yeah I was going to go on a picnic... and I was going to ask you if you wanted to come." He replied nervously.
Was he asking me on a date? I mean obviously not a date why would he want to date me? I'm just a loser.
His mom probably forced him to take me out.
"Sure, that seems like fun. When are we going?" I asked.
"In an hour." He answered.
* an hour later *
Justin's POV:
I set down the blanket on the rocky hills.
I then sat down, and so did selena. I put down the basket and took out the food.
Sandwiches, bacon, pizza, and pie. I really hope she likes it.
"Wow, these are all my favorites." Selena said looking at the food.
"Glad you like it." I said and she giggled nervously.
"So I wanted to ask you a question... um so did you take me on a picnic cause you really wanted to hang out with me or because your mom made you?" Selena asked nervously.
She thought my mom made me take her out?
"No, I just wanted to hang out with you. Since you seem like a cool person." I replied.
"Wow thanks." She replied and I took a slice of pizza.
For the rest of the time, we got to know each other. We talked about our families, our favorites, and we played a game of truth or dare I wish we never played.
"Truth or dare?" Selena asked me giggling from our previous conversations.
"Truth." I replied.
"Who do you like? Not just like, but have a romantic crush on?" Selena asked.
I sighed. Why did I ever play this stupid game again?
