Jordyn: girl I saw Corey's snapchat. Are you guys together yet?

Me: no not yet. I don't know if I'm ready.

Jordyn: you've had a crush on him forever I think you're ready

Me: well I mean it's just I don't want it to happen like the last relationship

Jordyn: River ain't shit Corey is a way different person.

Me: okay I'll talk to Corey

I was nervous because he said that we would hang out on Wednesday but I wanted to hang out today. I didn't want to seem too clingy.

Also I don't want to be the one to ask him to be my boyfriend. I guess I just had to lead him on.

Pretty soon I got a snapchat back from him.

I turned on the TV getting Netflix set up so it would be ready when he got here. Then I went to go make some popcorn and put it in a bowl.

Then I heard a knock at the door and I went to go answer it knowing it was Corey.

"Hey Marnie." he walked in giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Hi I have everything ready for you."

"Oh cool. What movie do you wanna watch?"

"I don't care whatever you wanna watch." I said.

"How about Stand By Me." he said.

"Ooh I love that movie."

Midway towards the movie he grabbed the controller and paused the movie.

"Can I ask you something?" he said.

"Sure." I said sitting up facing towards him.

"Well I've been thinking and... would ya be my girl?"

I got nervous and my cheeks got hot and turned pink. I starred down at my hands as I was fiddling with them.

C'mon Marnie just take a risk everything is going to be fine I thought. Stop being such a baby and go out with him. He's so hot.

"Sure I'd love to." I said.

"Yay!" he said hugging me.

He looked me for a really long time just starring deep into my eyes. He finally finished what we had on the ferris wheel and kissed me. Long and soft. His lips were like baby lips. So fricken soft.

We stopped and I starred down at his lips and then up again at his eyes. Soon enough I was on top of him kissing. One hand of his was on my waist and the other behind my neck.

I stopped once again out of breath and said, "is that what you call Netflix and chill?"

"Not quite yet." he laughed.

Then he got a call and he picked it up.

"Hello?" he said in the phone.

"Oh okay I'll be right over."

Then he hung up.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.

"Um yeah I just need to go run to the store for my mom. I'll see you later though." he said giving me a kiss on my forehead.

"Okay bye." I said as he walked out the door.

It seemed sort of suspicious but I just started being his girlfriend so why would I worry. I just need to be calm and not worry so much about everything.

I went on my phone to go text Jordyn.

Me: he just asked me out and we sorta had a little make out session on the couch.

Jordyn: ooh yes! I called it. You guys are gonna be so fricken cute!

Me: yeah I'm really excited for what this could be.
