Juvias P.O.V.

I don't get why Gray was so mad. I escape all the time. I always come back home though.

I wonder what his problem is. I mean really. Ever since I was little I longed to have a day just where I can be me.

With no need of lords or lunches I could read my book all day. I could practice more with cooking. Sadly though I've never had that one day.

So I kind of force it on everyone when I leave. It's not that I hate my job it's just that everything is so confining. I know my Father always had to ask if he could go on holiday. If he ever could.

You constantly have to wear a mask. You can't let them see what's on your mind or how your actually feeling. It's exhausting being so fake all the time.

With Gray though I feel like I don't have to wear a mask. I can just be me. I feel like he understands; and he is there to hold the weight of everything with me.

That's ridiculous though. He just got mad yesterday. He doesn't understand. He is just like everyone else. They all think I'm just a spoiled princess that can do whatever she wants.

Even though that's not true. Tears threaten to spill. Why are people so judgmental.

Okay Juvia no need to freak out. I calm down after taking a few deep breaths.

Gray is probably going to be here soon. Might as well get this over with.

I quickly get ready for the day. Hm I wonder what will happen today. The fish is still following me around.

Maybe I should name the fish. "Would you like a name fish?" I say out loud. The fish moves up and down. "Juvia will take that as a yes!"

After that I try to find some good names. "Hm how about Luna?" The fish moves side to side.

"Okay how about Susan?" The fish moves side to side. "Your a picky fish; but names are important.

Maybe I should name her after the princess in the story. After all it's a good shot.

"How about Kirsten?" She moves up and down. "Juvia likes that name to. You are hereby names Kirsten."

"Who are you talking to?" I turn to see Gray floating there. "Ah!!" I scream shocked that I didn't here him come in. Then again Gray is a body guard.

Gray looks surprised by my scream. He then says "Sorry about that Princess." Wow he hasn't called Juvia Princess since his first day.

Great I can tell this day is going to be amazing. In case you were wondering that's sarcasm.

I see Grays fish is still following along. The two are playing together. "Let's go Shark Boy." He looks surprised at hearing the old nick name.

"Shark boy?" He says. I smile and say "Princess?" He goes silent at that. My smile gets bigger knowing I won.

"Alright Juvia what do you want to do today?" Gray asks while we swim around the castle.

"Let's have a race." I say excitedly. He gives me a look. Then I spot my little sister. She is just wandering around. I stop her and say "Meredy do you want to race with us?"

She smiles and says "Juvia your the fastest swimmer here. I wouldn't stand a chance; but I'll tell who wins."

Yes! "Let's go!" Gray smiles and says "Just don't cry when I beat you." Oh if only he knew. I feel bad taking advantage; but not bad enough to start.

When I was younger I would always escape the guards;and I got caught quite a few times. I would practice swimming so next time they wouldn't catch me.

I usually practiced for an hour each day. Eventually I got faster; and I once again tried to escape my guards. It's a rush swimming until chests hurts while your struggling to breath.

The anxiety of weather your going to be caught; and the excitement of when you get away. Swimming is freedom for me.

It always has been. Besides with this race I can see how fast Gray is. Which will be good for me.

My sister holds up both arms and tells us which way we're going. We need to swim through the coral reefs, take a right at mermaid lagoon then head back.

"Let's make this interesting." Says Gray. I nod my head "Okay if I win you have to swim through out; and tell everyone that your in love with Princess Juvia." I say to him.

He nods then says "If I win you need to go on a date with me." I smile because I know I'm going to win. We shake hands as we get started.

The race starts and I quickly zoom of into the sea. Gray is left in the dust. This race is mine. I quickly hear towards the coral reefs. Now this spot is tricky because there are loops.

You have to put your body right or you'll get stuck. Luckily I've done this a lot; and I have the scrapes and bruises to prove it.

After that I jet to the mermaid lagoon. Now it's pretty far away; but I can't slow down. Other wise I'll lose.

After about halfway my breathing is rugged as I try to keep pace. I can probably take a small break. I mean Gray is no where in sight. I quickly sit for a moment.

The thrill of running will never go away. I wonder why Gray swims so slow. All of a sudden something zooms by. I look to see Gray. Shoot! He is moving pretty fast. I quickly get up and try to catch up.

I put everything I have into beating him. It's futile Though because he crossed the finish line before me. We are both breathing heavily.

Gray looks at me triumphantly; and says "Tomorrow at six o clock where something nice." Then he is gone.

I don't understand why he wants to date me. I'm sure by tomorrow he'll forget all about it.
