So here's the setting.. Your at home all alone and the glass shatters and a guy breaks into your house. By law you are allowed to shoot him but with what gun? you are armed with a broom instead Oh thats right the government took them and now your stuff is being stolen while you lay on the floor tied up.
Yeah thats whats happening these days. Yeah we don't need 30 rounds to go hunting but those 30 rounds can be used in self defense . Lets look at the type of weapons everyone is a afraid of
An AR-15 looks like a scary Assault rifle but shoots the same round as a normal looking hunting rifle the round is a .22 each has a buyable 30 round box magazine but that normal hunting rifle isn't being banned and both shoot the same round and have the same magazine size only difference is the looks.
Honestly this whole gun control is really really stupid. Yeah sure people get shot but look at what Hitler, Stalin and Mao and a guy named Pot did when they did gun control! Each one of those people killed millions of their own people once they were disarmed. Do we want that in america?
Gun Control is a play by some people to get rid of all our weapons. Now some of you may argue that blah blah blah gun locks blah blah blah Sandy hook blah blah whatever!
Did you know that the school shootings dates back to the 18th century? This is not a new problem and nor should it be this big of a deal with gun control. Most of them have been pistols or single shot shotguns or bolt action rifles or even WW2 era 'Grease gun' Submachine guns
But who do the media and parents and politicians blame? The Ar15 or other military style guns
They don't go after the pistols or the shotguns because they aren't as scary as a Military style Sport shooter.
The term "An armed society is a polite society is extremely true in Switzerland. In a population 8.2 million they have the lowest homicide rate in the world.. And now let's look at the other side of the coin.Honduras population 8.2 million banned guns from civilian use HIGHEST homicide rate in the entire world. Hmm wonder what the thing is here oh yeah Switzerland has the lowest in the world and it requires its citizens to own weapons. Honduras banned guns and has the highest homicide rate in the world. There for Gun control DOES NOT WORK! You ban guns oh look there goes your ability to defend yourself. Tell me which sounds better
All weapons are banned on the premise or All staff are highly trained and any attempt to harm the children will result in lethal force. To me the second is a better option as it would deter any type of violence wrought by School shooters.
