We are not this black and white. To be without something is not always to have something else.
To be brave is not to be without fear, but to face it.
To be calm is not to have no panic, but instead to contain that panic,
To be cautious is not to be without curiosity, but to know the risk in being curious,
To be happy is not to lose sadness, but to know sadness and enjoy oneself anyway.
But without love we are broken.
We are without the most basic human emotion,
We are without drive or compassion, empathy or sympathy,
We are without fear, panic, caution or sadness.
