What I decideThe choices that I make
Are what make me, me
Whether or not they're right or wrong
They're what make me strong
Power over my self, deciding on my own
No longer need to be told
What I should do, what I should choose
I'm not a fool
Who makes dumb moves
I cruise through life using the number one tool
My brain and I'm not ashamed to explain the way I works
First I'm put in a situation or asked a question
Whenever I'm under the impression that this could lead to something dangerous I express it
And then I expect it to get across
To those who might reject it
And even if they don't accept it I'll make sure that they respect it
Because if their version of right needs to be corrected I'll stand on my own and take a left then
No sense of doubt ever crept in
Nor misguided reflection of my moral convections
Peer pressure was not let in
So they failed to change my perception
This is why when I stepped in
And thought about my options
I'll always win
Making the right decisions for me and not for them
