This manga is from Tachibana Higuchi and went on from 2003 to 2013 (10 full years).
This was my very first shoujo in my life, so it has a special place in my heart and of course I had to share with you in first place♡
But, well, "what's the prologue??" (I won't copy and paste, I'll tell you with my own words xD)
This story passes in the city of Kyoto, and, the protagonist, Mikan Sakura, who used to be always together with her best friend: the smart, beautiful and also a weird girl, Hotaru Imai.
One day, Mikan finds out that Hotaru is moving in to an academy and is trying to leave her without notifying her or saying goodbye.
Mikan, then, decides to go after her best friend - to the Alice Academy in Tokyo.
What Mikan didn't know is that this academy is "special" and only the ones whose have alice - some kind of "magic" - is allowed to get in in there.
Around Alice Academy's outside, Mikan meets a mad teacher from the Academy - Narumi - and he finds out she's an alice and she has some "special" points, and decides to put her in the academy.
Mikan reencounters with Hotaru but barely she knew all the troubles she'd get into, and.....!?
Well, I hope you understood even a bit of what I told you xD
It's a pretty interesting story even though the characters are a bit too young and stuff like that and there're lotttt of comedy in this manga, so I think you'll like it even a little!
