7: Before Byakuya's 2nd Party

I was worried that something bad happened but you're okay so my mission has been accomplished
Sent: 4:57pm

What mission? He should know I can take care of myself perfectly fine without anyone worrying. Maybe Sayaka was right about him liking me in a way more than friends?

I doubt it. Makoto could easily hook up with Mukuro or even Junko if he wanted to.

Junko did text me and said that Mukuro and Makoto had lunch together today, just the two of them.

My hopes of him liking me back are way too high for it to even have a possibility of happening.

I end up not replying to Makoto because it would just make the situation way more awkward then it needs to be. A few minutes later I get a text from Sayaka.

Are you going to Byakuya's party tonight??
Sent: 5:00pm

I could go and skip out on all of my homework and pass work in late for the first time or go to Byakuya's party.

I can just quickly do my homework now and in the morning because missing one of Byakuya's parties is social suicide.

I totally just didn't slightly quote Mean Girls.

To: Sayaka Maizono
Sure. When does it start?
Sent: 5:05pm

I wait a few minutes for my phone to go off and it does. Sayaka always replies to a text in a matter of minutes.

It starts at 10:30 and The Boys have already gotten the booze. Leon & I will pick you up around ten
Sent: 5:07pm

The boys always bring booze to Byakuya's infamous parties and they get drunk every damn time.

They always get in trouble with their parents but they get drunk every time.

To: Sayaka Maizono
The Boys and their booze. Who buys it for them anyways?
Sent: 5:11pm

When Byakuya first started to throw these parties his butler or someone else from his staff would buy the booze until they got fired by Byakuya's parents.

It must be the butler.

I turn my phone off and walk over to my closet. Wearing my uniform to one of Byakuya's parties is unacceptable, it would be like wearing a jumpsuit to a baby shower.

All of the girls tend to wear some sort of dress and the guys end up wearing a nice shirt and slacks they took from their Dad or older brother.

I look through my surprisingly small closet and end up picking a lavender cocktail dress I got for my birthday from a distant cousin a year or two ago.

Hopefully it still fits or else I'll have to wear my boring black funeral dress, like always.

Halfway through changing into the cocktail dress my phone chimes. The dress fits.

I walk over to my phone and Sayaka texted me back.

Byakuya's Butler buys it, I think. I'll have to ask Leon for the definite answer. Ttyl, gotta go try on dresses 😜😜
