14: Ten Years Later

~ Makoto's P.O.V ~

Kyouko and I started to date ten years ago today and the Triplets were born nine months later. It's been a helluva ten years, am I right.

Being 26 and having nine almost ten year old triplets earns a lot of disrespect from the other parents and most teachers.

We're lucky enough to have even have finished high school or gotten jobs. Kyouko's Dad used to and still does babysit on the weekends or every other weekend, if he's able to.

He's probably the reason Kyouko and I finished school and got the jobs that we have today.

Kyouko works as a Detective, obviously, and I'm a business man for a magazine company.

At work they say the only reason they do well is because my optimism brings in all of the customers and corner stuff like that.

Kyouko and I ignore the ignorant assholes most of the time and when we don't I tend to flip my shit and so does Kyouko and she's a hell of a lot meaner and way more intimidating then me.

"Mom! Dad!" One of the Girls called from their bedroom.

Kyouko and I leave our bedroom and book it the the Girls' bedroom, they don't usually tell for us unless they want something or one of them are doing something extremely stupid.

Lilliana, Kiana, and Hana are all sitting on Hana's bed.

Each girl has their own bed with a different colored bed spread. Lilliana's is pink, Kiana's is light blue, and Hana's is dark purple.

"Yeah" I said.

Kyouko is standing beside me, looking at the girls.

"Can we get pizza for dinner?" Kiana asked.

"Sure, is that the only thing you wanted to ask us?" Kyouko asked, annoyed.

The Triplets nodded and they all laughed in unison.

"Ha ha, very funny. What type of Pizza do you all want?" I asked.

"Cheese, please!" Lilliana and Kiana said at the same time.

"Pepperoni" Hana said.

Hana always has to be or choose something different from her sisters, while Lilliana and Kiana are always choosing the same thing.

"Okay. One Cheese, One Pepperoni, and One Hamburg & Onion" Kyouko said.

"Correct, madam" I said, grinning at Kyouko.

"Okay, I'll go order" She says and leaves the room.

I sit down on Lilliana's bed and look at the Triplets.

"Why does Mommy like Hamburg and Onion?" Lilliana asked.

"I don't know, she has longer then I've known her" I said.

"How long have you known her?" Kiana asked.

"Nearly 16 years" I said.

"So you guys met when you guys were ten?" Hana asked.

"Correct, sweetie" I said.
