Lesson 6 : Common Phrases you can Tweet to Idols

Here's just some common sentences/phrases people tend to say to idols ^^

1.Oppa/Unni, can you follow me on twitter?

오빠/언니, 제 트위터 팔로우해 주실 있어요? (Polite)

2. You have a beautiful twitter picture.

트위터 사진이 정말아름다워

3. Please upload a new selca on twitter.

트위터에 새 셀카 좀 올려주세요 (Polite)

4. Oppa, do you find it creepy that i have your picture as my DP?

오빠, 오빠사진이 제 트위터 아이콘으로 있으니깐 좀 오싹하지 않으세요?

5. Oppa, I love you~ Please reply to me ^^

오빠, 사랑해요~ 제발 답장 좀 해 주세요 ^^  

6.I cant wait for your comeback. ____ fighting!! ^^

진짜 설레는 마음으로 컴백 기다리고 있어요! ____ 파이팅!! ^^

7. When will be your comeback? I'm very excited for your comeback~

컴백 언제 하실건가요? 저는 아주 설레하며 기다리고 있어요~

8. Please always take care of yourself and always smile ^^

항상 몸 조심하시구요, 늘 미소지어 주시길 바래요

*Words

Comeback = 컴백 (english borrowed word = keom baek)  

Wait/waiting = 기대 (gi dae)  

How was it? = 어때요? (eo ddae yo)  

Concert = 콘서트 (english borrowed word con seo teu)  

Album = 앨범 (english borrowed word: ael beom)  

Last = 마지막 (ma ji mak)  

Ready = 준비 (jun bi)  

Becareful = 조심 (jo shim)

Cheering/Cheer = 응원 (eung won)  

Handphone (cell phone/ mobile phone) = 핸드폰 (haen deu pun)  

Got up (woke up) = 일어나서 (il reo na seo)  

Its cold = 춥다 (chub da)  

Song 노래 (no rae)

You often hear 대박 (Dae Bak) alot right? There's no direct translation but it means Big win, success, awesome, the best etc.

When do you say '화이팅'? (Fighting)Everyone that speaks Korean or is interested in the Korean culture would have used the word 'fighting' once before~ ^^

It just means "Let's keep up the good work" or "Cheer up' "You can do it". 

Its kind of like the Korean version of "Let's go!!" (There's no direct translation available)

Sometimes Idols use other forms of '화이팅' such as '파이팅' '빠이팅' '퐈이팅' '홧팅' They are like the cute version of the actual word.
