Pretty much since I got home from the mall with Tate it's been me and all my new friends texting. Them giving me their numbers us having short conversations the only one that hadn't texted me yet was jordyn. Which is probably because it's now 5:30 and she's still with maddie.

Tate McRae💃 would like to facetime

I accept.

Tate waves "hey kenzie"

I wave back "hi Tate!"

"So what are you doing?" She asks

"Just been in my room being bored waiting for maddie to get home"

"Oh where's maddie"

"She went to the park with Jordyn"

"Oh cool"

"So what have you been doing?"

"Well Jaycee just left"

"Whatd she want"

"Still don't know she just said she was bored" Tate shrugs picking at her nails "she gets annoying sometimes"

"Oh"

"Hey I have to go shower before my brother gets there first he just got home from football" Tate  explains

"Okay still meet at the court yard?" I ask

"Yeah girl" Tate replies blowing a kiss and ending the call.

*BEEP*BEEP*BEEP*

For once I actually don't snooze. I turn off my alarm and stretch as I get out of bed.

"MACKENZIE GET YOUR FACE UP!"Maddie bangs on the wall.

"UGH FINE," I smile.

I open my dresser and search for something to wear. I decide on a pair of jeans, a flannel, and a pair of combat boots. Since it's fall.

I straighten my hair and apply some makeup. I walk down the hallway and find Maddie eating some cinnamon toast crunch. I grab the box and take the bag out to find it's empty. I groan throwing the box away and grab a box of cookie crisps. I eat my cereal and make sure I have my homework and everything in my backpack for school.

"You ready" Lindsey asks grabbing her purse

"Yep" me and maddie reply grabbing our backpacks

Me and maddie grab waters for school and follow Lindsey out the door.

"So did you have fun with jordyn?" I ask maddie on the way to school

"Yeah jordyns really cool. How about tate?" Maddie replies.

"Tate's awesome." I reply cooly I see maddie nod from the front seat as she begins to apply some Chapstick

Maddie tosses her Chapstick back into her bag and pulls out her phone.

I get a text from Tate.

Hey kenzie R u here yet

No but we r close

Ok I have to stop at my locker before I get to the court yard so I might be late
