ANNABETH

Annabeth couldn't help but feel excited.

While she had been on quite a few quests before, this one was going to be different. Not only would she be able to converse with teenage witches and wizards, but she would be able to learn about one thing she wasn't didn't really know everything about, magic and performing spells.

But Annabeth, being herself, wanted answers. She wanted to know more about the "powerful object" Chiron stated they were to find. She couldn't help but feel like it wasn't anywhere as strong as the fleece had originally been, and would only be a slight improvement to the border they had now.

"Hey, Annabeth!" Percy's voice ripped her from her thoughts.

"Yes?"

"I get you're excited- but I'm not sure about this whole thing."

Annabeth sighed. She wasn't confused at all, she knew exactly what Percy was talking about- it was the one thing she wasn't exited about.

"We've been through a lot, Percy. Compared to what we most recently went through, this should be nothing."

"I know... But I thought we were finally going to get a break."

Annabeth put an arm around Percy. "All we can do is what we do in every other situation we've ever been in- make the best of it."

NICO

Nico had just begun packing. Because he would be gone for an extremely long time, he was careful not to forget anything.

Chiron had given them three days to pack and spend time with their siblings before they went (because Nico didn't have any, he just spent that time talking to Will.)

Nico had waited for the very last second to begin packing, while Will had finished it up on the first day. So now, Nico was rushing around his cabin, making sure he had everything, while Will just made himself comfortable on the couch, starting conversations at random times.

When Nico finished, he rolled his luggage outside of the cabin and loaded it onto the camp van.

He was finally ready to go to Hogwarts.

CHIRON

Chiron rolled out of the Big House for the first time in nearly two months. Still coughing and hacking, he slowly made his way to Argus, who was preparing to drive the demigods to the airport. Chiron figured that would be the quickest way for them to get there, because term started soon.

Every demigod was loading the van to go to the airport, except Percy, who stood still by the vehicle.

"It's alright, Percy. Dionysus and I worked it out with Zeus."

Percy didn't seem to feel much better about it, but got in the van next to Annabeth anyways.

After saying one last goodbye, Chiron wheeled himself back to the big house, feeling exhausted and a strong desire to rest, now that he had found a possible solution.

After making it back inside, Chiron sighed. He hoped for the demigods' sake, and his own, that they would succeed.
