***•The Next Day•***

I spent the night at Scotty's house.

He woke up basically hungover.

I laughed.

He went in his bathroom and got dressed.

We both went outside to be met with his mom and dad.

"Okay Scotty I'm taking your father to the airport," his mom said.

"Oh okay mom," Smalls said bluntly.

"Are you okay you look kind of pale," his mom asked feeling his head and moving his hair out of his face.

"I'm fine mom," Smalls said.

"You sure?" His mom asked.

I giggled.

Smalls glared at me.

Smalls nodded to his mom.

I zoned the rest of the conversation out.

It took about five minutes.

Then his parents said, "Bye Y/n!"

"Bye!" I smiled quickly zoning back in.

*•A Few Days Later•*

After the guys were all done acting like 'big shots' they swore off the hard stuff forever and just stuck to Bazooka.

We went inside the store and bought another baseball.

Then Benny ran up and grabbed my hand.

I looked at the ground feeling a weird feeling in my gut.

"What's wrong baby girl?" Benny asked.

"I just have a weird feeling," I said.

"Don't worry nothing's gonna happen to you," Benny said.

"It's not me I'm worried about," I said.

He smiled and kissed my temple.

"Don't be worried," he said.

****At The Fields****

We all went to our spots.

Mine is now permanently third.

Yay me! (Not sarcasm)

Benny went up to bat.

Everyone prepared for what's about to happen.

Kenny pitched the ball.

Benny hit it so hard the cover of the ball busted off.

"Damn Benny!" I said, "Who are you mad at?"

The guys laughed.

"Bitchin'," Bertram said.

"Nah I'm not mad. And naw it ain't!" Benny said.

"Yeah yeah it is Benny. Maybe two three guys in history ever busted the guts out of a ball," Yeah yeah said.

"All that means is that we can't play no more," Benny said sadly, "I mean it's only 12:00 and I just ruined the whole day for us."

"No you didn't. That's the most amazing thing I ever saw," Kenny said.

"Yeah Benny. Don't beat yourself up. This is cool," I said grabbing his hand sweetly.

"Anybody got any money?" Benny asked.

"No," we all said in sync.

"Then it ain't okay. Cuz now we can't play no more," Benny said.
