Our last summer before college

Today is the last day before we leave all
Of our bags are packed and we're ready to go. Connor asked me to go out with him as a last night thing. I walk out in the beach with him. I see the music playing and we ate a picnic.

After a while he stood up and offered his hand. I gladly took it and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck. We danced slowly and he leaned down and kissed me when the song ended.

Then we danced like that for every song that came on. 2 hours later we were both so tired we Laid down on the blanket and stared at the stars.

"You wanna Know something?"

"Yeah what is it"

"There are millions of stars out there, and they are all pretty but none of them even compare to you"

"Awe" I say as I rest my head on his chest. We lay like this for a while. Then he grabs my hand and pulls me up.

Next thing I know he is on his knees holding a box. He slowly opens it. My heart won't stop racing. I feel like I can't breathe. His next words make me dizzy.

"Nikki, will you marry me?"
