Day 10:

"I'm a good cook." He said this morning. The words ran through my brain a couple times before I realized he was talking to me.

"How good?"

"I make grilled cheese seem amazing."

"Isn't grilled cheese already amazing?"

The elevator stopped at his floor but he closed the doors. "Im not a big fan."

"That's just your opinion."

"Well I know a good restaurant."

"Do you?"

"Yeah, it has amazing grilled cheese."

I couldn't help but laugh. He smiled so widely his sparkling eyes crinkled.

I remember that after I laughed, the elevator stopped at my floor. When I started walking I felt a soft hand grab me hand and I quickly pulled it away.

"Sorry, I just..." He walked out of the elevator. "I see you everyday, and I don't know anything about you, besides the fact you have me a heart attack that time we actually had a conversation-" or something like that.

My eyes widened. I gave him a heart attack. But no, he was perfectly fine. Probably didn't see a doctor about it.

He asked me out to dinner. I didn't know how to respond, so with wide eyes, I walked away.
