Miles still hadn't texted me and the dance started in 30 minutes! I was getting really worried about him and how I was getting to the dance. Hehe... I forgot to say but... My mom and dad left on a trip the day of the dance for work and took their car. I don't have one yet but I'm 17! I don't really understand why I don't though. I'm a good kid! Anyways, I knew Macy wouldn't take me since she wasn't going to the dance and after her harsh breakup(or at least that's what she calls it), she wouldn't even want to think about it. I texted Miles again and this is what our conversation was:
Me: Hey
Miles: Hey
Me: I'm sorry about earlier. I was being really stupid. I'm just glad you responded.
Miles: yeah
Me: are you still taking me to the dance?
Miles: don't you have a ride?
Me: um, no. You were taking me. Remember?
Miles: oh
Me: so, are you?
Miles: ok
Me: ok thank you so much miles!
Miles: no problem. Just bring an umbrella.
Me: why?
Miles: because it's supposed to rain soon and you wouldn't want you're pretty dress getting ruined, now would you?
Me: haha. Who even said I was wearing a dress?
Miles: wait WHAT?!
Me:😂 just joking.
Miles: k good. I haven't even seen it yet.
Me: I know.😈
Miles: oh...
Me: I'll see u in a few min.
Miles: ok bye.
Me:bye!
I sighed with relief after that conversation.
He wasn't mad at me anymore.
I went to put on some lipstick, finish
curling the last few strands of my hair, and put on my stilettos.
The next 10 minutes felt like forever waiting for miles. Then finally he texts and said he was here. I got off of the living room couch and went to the front door. I opened it and saw miles sitting in the drivers  seat of his silver Jeep.

~Miles' POV~
Brenna opened the door and smiled at me. She was so beautiful!
She had a long, navy blue dress with silver patterns all over the top by her waist. She had her dirty blonde hair curled in these tight curls that looked good and silver high heel shoes(I don't really know what they're called).
She waved excitedly at me and walked through the yard, picking up her dress as she did, and got into the passengers seat.
"Hey!" She said.
"Hey."
"Are you excited?"
"Yeah."
"Me too!"
I put the car into drive and I drove down the road.
"So..."
"Have you heard that new song called Panda?"
"That came out like three months ago."
She laughed and said," I know."
We drove the rest of the time laughing and talking about random things.
I knew we were going to have a good time.
