Force fields protect us from danger we can
see and touch,
its physicality a demented memory in our brains.
Force fields exist because of us, and are used
against us.
but who is
us
we are not one, for one would be kind
for one would have no violence of any kind.
Force fields can protect us from vicious animals and malicious people with swords in their hands,
but we have no control over their hatred words, verbally killing our hopeful souls.
Nothing can protect us from the human screams, as the fire of anarchy intoxicates our once innocent
minds.
Nothing can protect us from our own minds,
for they kill on their own,
each of us protected within
a force field of insanity.
