Show me a hero,
I'll show you a tragedy,
Its not about what they've done,
But what's been done to them,
And what they'll become.
Show me a hero,
I'll show you all the pain,
All the twists and turns,
To their greatness today,
I'll show you things you'd never imagine to see,
Things you'd never imagined to hear.
Show me a hero,
A hero that hasn't been hurt and damaged,
A hero that is still mentally sane,
Show me a hero that lives with no agony.
Show me a hero,
I'll show you a tragedy,
Stories and tales of great remorse,
Show me a hero
And I'll show you the tragedy behind it all.
