I was awake but my eyes stayed close, i didn't feel like opening them, i can feel the IV with medicine flowing into my arm but that's it, everything else feels numb

My fingers twitched when i heard a baby cry, my eyes popped open but then immediately closed at the dim light

It still hurts

It took a couple of second but i managed to keep my eyes open, i quickly grabbed the remote with a smile on my face and put the bed in a sitting position

I looked around the room and saw Cecilia and Lucas sleeping on a bed In the corner of the room

I looked around for Joe and saw him sitting on a arm chair with his head on his hand, he was sleeping, i kept my gaze on him and saw his face looks tired, he had bags under his eyes, his hair was a a mess but he stilled looked Hot

My eyes snapped to the side when i heard the baby crying, my smile went full blown at the baby who was covered up in a blanket, out if the corner of my eye i saw Joe jolt awake and quickly got up and walked over to the baby that was crying, he picked her up hesitantly and placed her on his chest, his huge arms engulfing her

He did all this without even looking my way

"C-can i hold her?" i whispered my voice hoarse

I saw Joe body jolt once again and his beautiful wide eyes looked my way

"Baby" he whispered, he just stood there for a whole minute staring at me

"Joe?" after i said his name he walked over to me but placed the baby back in her bed

"Joe i want to-" the words were trapped in my mouth when he slid his hand in my hair and brought my mouth to his, he brought his other hand to my check and gently rubbed it, as if he wanted to give me warmth, i felt the bed dipped as he sat, he moved his hand and wrapped his arms around me, the kiss became deeper as he pushed his tongue into my mouth after a couple of minutes if kissing he pulled back and stared at my face

"Marry me" he whispered

"What-t" i stuttered

I think i heard him wrong, no, i know i heard him wrong

"You know i hate repeating myself" he growled

"Joe" I couldn't speak by the shock and realization that Joe just asked me to marry him!! I turned my head to the side and tried to think about anything that might bring Joe to ask this, something had to have happen right?

"Fuck no, your fucking marrying me Sofia" he growled and pulled out a little box from his pocket

"No, what do you want this to be romantic, fine ill give you romantic" he got off the bed taking me with him but being careful with the IV and my body since its still sore, once he got me on the edge of the bed, he got down on one of knees while muttering curses, he blew out a breath and grabbed onto my hips as he spoke

"I want to marry you Sofia Smith, your the only woman who ill love and fucking cherish even when your annoying the fuck out of me, that makes me want to strangle you and throw you over a damn bridge-" my eyes widen and i tried to edge away, but his hands on my hips stopped me from doing that " but i wont do that because i love you, without you i don't know what to fucking do, the thought of you not in my life is my biggest-" he cleared his throat while trying to avoid my eyes "fear, i need you baby, i need you to love me like i do you but more, babe please fucking marry me" his eye pleads with mine as he brought a beautiful sliver cut ring with the most biggest diamond in the world, Kim Kardashian ani't got shit to this

I tried to keep my tears at bay, he was just so cute, he looked at me with hope in his eyes

"I'm sorry" I cried as i bit my lower lip from sobbing out loud

His eyes narrowed but he kept his mouth shut as his hand with the ring lowered, he looked down dejected,he tucked a loose hair behind his ear and was about to get up when i pushed on his shoulder

"I'm sorry Joe, your gonna be stuck with me for the rest of your life, of course ill marry you!" i cried and as best as i can tried to hug him as treas flowed down my cheeks

"Jesus women" he growled and hugged me back, after a couple of seconds, he gently pushed me back and grabbed my shaking hand and placed it on my finger, it was a perfect fit

He placed a kiss on my fingers, got up and placed three deep kisses on my lips, he leaned back and placed his forehead against mine after a couple of loving moments he spoke up
