Alaina's POV

The next morning I woke up with heavy head ache. Damn it! Do I always have to be in pain?!

I did my daily morning-routine and then I went to school. My mood wasn't good at all. "Bye, Mum.", I yelled, before I slammed the door.

First history... That was okay. The teacher was okay and I actually wasn't that bad in this subject.I got there on time, greeted my friends and sat down. But only 5 minutes after the lesson started, my cell phone vibrated. I took a look, without worrying. It was Mum. What the hell? Since when does my mother text me? And since when does she do it so early in the morning, while I'm in school?

Sweetie, this morning you were gone so quickly. So I couldn't tell you that today you're just going have the first two lessons. After that I'll pick you up. We'll go to see a doctor. It's time to do an average Check-Up to see if everything is alright with you. Nothing special. It's just a routine everybody has to do once in a while. And don't worry. You're officially excused at school. See you later. I love you. ❤❤❤Mum❤❤❤

Immediately my lips formed a wide grinning. Yaaaas, Baby. I really loved to hear such news! After surviving the two hours, my Mom waited in front of the school. I got into the car and together we left that awful building behind us.

I was so happy today. I wouldn't have imagined that, three days later, when my mother showed me the results of the Check-Up with a horrified face, I would become so hopeless
