Aziah wandered into the cafeteria exhausted after a two hour long Voice and Speech class. She didn't know that her voice had that range , however she probably wouldn't be able to use it for the rest of the day. She scanned the cafeteria first for Kesi , who wasn't there and then Derryck who was waving her over , he sat with her brothers Carter and Cartier , as well as Brandon and Chase.

"Hey baby."

Derryck greeted her with a kiss before moving over to make space for her on the side of him.

"The stations were closing and I knew you'd be hungry so I got you a tray."

He moved it toward her and she beamed at him while her brothers rolled their eyes , they weren't big fans of her relationship, according to them something abut Derryck was off.

Before he'd became involved with Aziah , he was a well known player , in fact he was messing with 3 or 4 girls the day before he pursued Aziah. Carter knew this and Cartier did too , they'd tried to stop their sister from getting close to him and even threatened him but Derryck said Aziah changed him and Aziah believed every word he said, most of the time.

Just as she dove into her plate of fries Brandon spoke up.

"Have you seen Kesi? We were supposed to have lunch yesterday but she didn't show and she's not here today."

The whole table stared at him except Chase. First off , how did he know her name was Kesi? Secondly she was supposed to meet him for lunch? Kesi ate lunch alone , curled up with a book. Aziah's mind started to wonder while her brothers just looked at each other.

Kesi wasn't in the room when she came back and Aziah knew she was having dinner with her dad so she just thought that she'd gone early to spend more time with him but Kesi wasn't in the room this morning and Aziah knew she hadn't missed her classes because she'd walked past her earlier today.

What had happened between her and Brandon and why did he have a date with Kesi, that she apparently stood him up on ?

"I mean I saw her walking to class today but she disappeared on me yesterday and this morning."

Aziah answered truthfully as her brothers gave her a look , 'the find out what the hell is going on' look before they got up stating they had to study.

She nodded while Brandon seemed to be in deep thought.

Aziah needed to speak to her best friend ASAP.

"Whose Kesi?"

Chase asked and Derryck answered.

"Diana , isn't she your obsession , you should know that."

He teased but for some reason Brandon didn't find that funny at all ,in fact he eyed Chase's reaction with as much intensity as he would use to watch his opponents with on the court. Aziah picked up on this while Chase just grinned before waving it off.

"I prefer Diana, anyway are you going to set us up or what?"

"I'll see what I can do."

Aziah said truthfully because she knew Kesi wasn't the least bit interested in Chase. The smell of perfume filled the air and suddenly a tall , brown skinned girl sat next to Brando, Aziah didn't know her but she immediately didn't like her because she acted like Brandon was the only one at the table.

"I'm serious A, set it up."

Chase begged jokingly causing Aziah to throw a fry at him, which he caught.

"I'll see what I can do"

She repeated and  Chase nodded with an appreciative smile on his face before he turned to Brandon who was semi ignoring the girl next to him because he was still watching Chase.
