<3rd POV>
That afternoon Itona and Ritsu had been with Karasuma discussing what would happen to Nagisa when they release him in the following days. Within that time, they couldn't really do anything for him due to this current state. On the other hand, Karasuma handed them documents to hunt down the organization that attacked the NYDA branch as well as the attack on the Ministry of Defense. With a steady plan, they geared up with their division. Ritsu heading to NY and Itona staying in Japan to investigate.

When a couple of hours had past, I had to get in touch with Itona to see what was up with Nagisa at the hospital. For some reason when I called Ritsu, my phone had said contact does not exist when I tried to reach her."Huh...? Did I type in the wrong number?"
I tried it again and it was no use. Even with Irina's number, my phone did not recognize either of them. Contact does not exist.
Of course, an alarm went off in my head. Somethings wrong and they're not telling me about it.
I guess I'm heading over earlier than I intended but the only thing I have to worry about are those agents. Then again, I did survive Nagisa's attacks when he's supposed to be the agency's best.

By the time I got to the hospital, there were men waiting outside. Dressed all black just like Karasuma's aloof style of power. They wore badges and black shades, standing under the sweltering, setting sun.I snuck behind a yellow hummer and swiftly made it into the side doors of the building. Luckily, I saw a janitor entering one of the back doors after throwing trash away and before that door closed, I slipped in quietly.
Successfully, I made it to the second floor and noticed that his room was changed since the last time. When I asked the lady in front, she didn't see me as a threat and told me that he was moved into a different space.
Soon enough, I came upon Nagisa's room and this time, it didn't have a lock pad for a key to be scanned. However, it was locked as I shook the knob. I rummaged through my pockets and some how managed to find a paperclip in my back pocket.
It was actually Ritsu awhile back, who taught me how to pick locks. With both handy items like credit cards and anything long and skinny that can fit through the keyhole.
At first, I had trouble trying to find the right spot, pressing down on the locking mechanism all in one go, and finally it clicked and unlocked."Yes." I said with triumph to my prideful self.
Glancing around before I entered, I saw a male nurse turning into this hallway so I hurried into the room. With a self lock on the knob itself, I didn't have to worry about him coming in.
Shaking the worries in my heart away, I walked in the room and made it to the bed noticing that Nagisa wasn't in it.
Suddenly, a surge of bloodlust startled me, emitting from behind and when I turned my head, I gazed upon Nagisa sitting in the chair near the coffee table. He looked up with these eyes that weren't normally his. Like he was possessed by another spirit that capsulated in his body. Something about him didn't seem right.
Nagisa stood up and retreated back as I came closer. Words couldn't come out from my mouth as I was filled with happiness and disbelief that were alone together like this.
He's wake, was all that lingered in my thoughts.
"N-Nagisa..."
I felt the urge to grab ahold of him and embraced him tightly. Again, I fell into awe with loads of emotions catapulting out. But he's back and that's what matters...nothing else matters.
With my body moving on its own, I leaned in, wrapping my arms around him and kissed him.
I wanted to reinforce my affection for him that was challenged by the wrath of the world. Something in me felt like it was necessary so that Nagisa would never think otherwise. However to my surprise, he pushed me back as a reflex. His eyes diverted from mine as his entirely was in a state of shock. Nagisa was petrified.
"W-who are you?" He spoke as he wiped his lips with his sleeve. "Who let you in?"
His expression was nothing but confusion and distaste from what had happened. He protected himself from me and made sure that I wouldn't come close.
"W-what?" I couldn't comprehend his words clearly. "Oi, Nagisa. This isn't funny."
My voice began to crack under pressure and I stepped forward though he moved quickly back and stumbled into the chair. What is this?
"G-get away from me!"
He slapped me right then and there. My heart shattering into millions, with the same painstakingly awful feeling I endured. What had become of him?
"S-stop playing around-"
Nagisa shook his head and for the first time, I saw fear in his eyes. What scared him so much? Is it me?
When silence had swept over us, the door unlocked and in came Karasuma. He didn't shout nor arrest me like I thought he would.
"I knew you would come." He said as he looked as both of us. "I see that you've met."
"H-hey." I started, "Nagisa-"
"If you hadn't notice, he's lost his memories." Karasuma bluntly said the obvious that I refused to accept. Is that really the case?
A rush of emptiness came over me and I felt lost in the moment. Why is this happening?
"H-he what?" I asked again.
"Nagisa has lost his memories, hopefully temporarily I should say." Karasuma answered.
Nagisa stepped forward.
"Are you the one who let this guy in?" Nagisa questioned Karasuma. "Who is he?"
"I'll get to that later." He answered him and then turned to me. "Look Karma, I have good news and bad news. You ready? Cause I'm not one to repeat."
I nodded my head.
"From the grave injuries he sustained and stress on the body, accumulative impacts had rewired his brain during his coma. Something happened and now he has amnesia. He doesn't remember any of us nor his past." He glanced at Nagisa and then back at me.
"There's a chance he may recover though, the doctor that he'll be able to regain it possibly within a weeks time. His voice was mollified for the first time. "The deal breaker is that Nagisa needs to get back to work and I'm willing to spare only two days. If those two days comes and he doesn't regain his memories back, he's good as a new doll."
My body somehow forgot to breathe and I couldn't take it all in.
"I-I..." Words couldn't come out yet again. The fact that Nagisa had forgotten about me, about us.
"There's great news again if you're interested." Karasuma added, "you'll be spending the two days with him."
"O-out of pity?" I managed to slip past my lips. "Why are you so adamant about putting him back to work?"
"Well, its not like I'll be subjecting him to anything intense and physical. Just office work for now, it's your choice." Karasuma sighed, "however, I don't intend to give him back to you if he doesn't remember anything." As he kept speaking, I felt like I was becoming smaller by the second.
"With a clean slate, Irina can start from square one. A fresh start you could say."
Karasuma spoke in a tone that pissed me off. To him it didn't matter if Nagisa lost his memories or not.
But for me, it's like being hit by a train at full speed, being run over for a lifetime until there was nothing left.I looked over at Nagisa and tears welled up.
My body started to shake and I shook my head in disbelief, this can't be happening."Nagisa."
