~Draco's POV~
When we finally entered the great hall professor McGonagall sorted the first years into the houses. Dumbledore gave his 'great' speech, but I never listened, in fact the only bit I listed to was... " and I proud to introduce Draco Malfoy as head boy and Hermione Granger as head girl." it was slightly ironic that people only clapped at Hermione's name, but then I couldn't really blame them. Although there was certain people that knew of my innocence during the war.
Finally as dinner came to an end professor McGonagall led us to the our portrait to our shared common room. As we stepped in front of our portrait that held the four founders themselves leading to our common room, I had a suspicious reason that we were being followed, but as I was about to confirm that suspicion professor McGonagall snapped me out of it saying the password was "victory spells".

As they entered the common room they stood there in awe. The common room itself had a white walls, a brick chimney, a kitchen which was below a balcony that lead to book shelf in between the bathroom and the bedrooms, but what truly amazed Hermione and Draco was the bedrooms and the bathroom which looked like this...

After exploring the common room etc.. they both said goodnight and with that fell asleep, {after they got into their PJ's, obviously} to await what bad things would happen tomorrow.
