"Vern" you said "actually I was coming to talk to you do you have a minute?"
Vern looked at you "sorry y/n I can't I have to get ready for my date with Sally henderson she asked me to go for milkshakes "
You frowned "you didn't tell me you liked sally henderson ?"
Vern smiled "well yeah I wanted to wait to see if me and her would even haven a chance anyway I got to go I'll see you later y/n"
As vern walked away you face fell back to a frown
You still decided to go to the treehouse
As you climbed up the latter you did the secret knock
As soon as it opened you climbed up and kicked dirt
"So I'm guessing you heard about sally?" Gordie said
You nodded
"Don't even worry about it y/n were only 15 plus verns not the only guy in the world " teddy said
"Yea your right I'll get over it" you sighed
"Who would've thought Verno would be the ladies man" Chris laughed
You laughed along "Yea who would've thought"
