"Harry," a familiar voice called out, quietly. "Wake up, sleeping beauty," the voice continued as I woke up to realize it was Louis.
Shortly after waking up to Louis, I noticed that I had the worst headache of my entire life and my entire body ached from head to toe. Louis had no shirt on which let me get glances of the tattoos that marked his skin beautifully. He had one across the chest that read, "It Is What It Is," and a numerical one under it that said, "78." His hair was jumbled up and looked like wild, brown feathers, his lips were a bit swollen and he had a lovebite or two on his neck.
I furrowed my eyebrows at him, extremely confused and a little frightened because I remembered absolutely nothing about the previous night. All I could really conclude at that point was that I got too drunk and now I'm paying for it.
"What....happened....last night?" I asked in a delayed speech pattern, my head was practically busting through it's temples.
"You are quite the party animal, Harry," he chuckled.
"Did we have sex?" I asked, my cheeks blushing bright red.
"No, of course not, we made out a little bit, but I wouldn't have done anything unless I knew you were able to give your consent fully."
"Thanks," I croaked.
"Anyways, come downstairs and we can chat about it over pancakes," he said with a smirk.
I pushed myself out of bed, needing Louis' help for the most part, it hurt to even walk in a straight line and my stomach was ready to pounce any minute.
"I'm guessing this is your first hangover," Louis chuckled, "don't worry, me and my buddies will take care of you, but carry this bucket, we can't stain any carpets," Louis said, handing me a wastebasket, which was slightly embarrassing but I knew I'd probably thank him later for this act of kindness.
As we were almost on our way out of the bedroom, I looked in the mirror and dropped the wastebasket at the sight of a new tattoo on my skin. My heart started racing and I was completely dumbfounded.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" I shouted in a panic. "MY PARENTS ARE GOING TO KILL ME FOR THIS!"
"Calm down, Haz, I can help," he said, which calmed me down a little considering the nickname was special to me.
"You could have helped last night before I got this dreaded insect on my stomach!"
"Look, I've got some Kat Von D concealer, it's waterproof and has 100% tattoo and blemish control," Louis said as I gave him a weird look.
"Are you some beauty guru? Are you one YouTube? Can you teach me out to fleek my brows?" I asked, sarcastically and he started laughing at my attempt to be a total asshole.
"My sister is in cosmetology school, so I've learned a few tricks," he chucked. "I got the concealer for a job interview."
Louis sat me back down on the bed as I started to feel dizzy and lightheaded again. He got the concealer and applied to the huge, butterfly tattoo that covered the majority of my tummy. When the tattoo was no longer visible, we made our back downstairs where he had prepared toaster waffles.
No one else was awake yet so I saw the opportunity to ask all the awkward questions about last night.
"So, explain to me why someone gave a clearly intoxicated, underage teenager a tattoo," I said to Louis.
"In all fairness, that's how most tattoos get done at the beach, I'm sure it wasn't anything out of the ordinary."
"Why did you let me do that?" I asked as he started laughing.
"I tried to talk you out of it but you kept saying that it's something you had been wanting to do," he explained. "And anyways, who was I to stop you? I'm not your mommy," he replied.
"No, but you can be my daddy." I said in my head, laughing to myself.
"Fair enough. But, do you have any idea why I tried making out with you?"
"Well, for starters, alcohol makes people do crazy things, second of all, I think your attempt was successful because I have lovebites all down my neck."
"Are you gay?" I asked and he sighed.
"You ask a lot of questions, when is it my turn?" Louis chuckled.
"Now, I guess."
"What's your idea of a nice beach date?" Louis asked.
"I don't know, something small, a blanket laid out while you watch the ocean and talk," I replied.
"Good, because I can't wait to take my girlfriend out," He replied as my heart sank into my chest.
"Oh, I croaked out.
"What's your favorite snacks?" Louis asked.
"Sour gummy worms."
"Favorite drink?"
"Strawberry soda."
"Favorite music artist?"
"Lana Del Rey."
"What's your number?"
"3369536802."
The questionnaire didn't last long before my sister barged in, demanding we go back home, after the recent discovery of Louis having a girlfriend, I was eager to leave.
"Bye, Harry! I'll call you sometime," he said, waving me out.
My heart raced thinking about the tattoo, the lovebites I left on Louis' straight, straight body.
I was so upset that he was straight but it wasn't like I could force him to continue whatever beach themed one night stand we had going on. All I really have left of him is his beauty guru tips and a butterfly tattoo that will always make me think of him.
I hoped to had seen him around, or to have him call me but I knew he wouldn't call. I knew I was just some gay charity case that he took on for a night.
{A little bit sad, I know, but it gets better soon!! Please vote/comment/share and give me feedback xx}
