I am in a play
I play my part well
I wear a mask and read a script
That I put together myself
The world is my stage
I always stay in character
I can pretend like an expert
But I don't remember when I became an actor
I put on a show
For anyone to see
I smile, I talk, I laugh convincingly
But I'm never who I'm truly supposed to be
