Chapter 5

(Ross and Laura are walking to Laura's house)
Ross: So you're barely new to this town?
Laura: Yep moved in on Friday and well it's Monday today
Ross: do you like it so far?
Laura: Well you're the only one that has been nice to me...
Ross: Really?
Laura: Yeah
Ross: Do you live with your parents?
Laura: Uh... No my dad died 2 years ago and my mom died when I was younger
Ross: Oh I'm sorry for asking
Laura: It doesn't bother me! I love talking about my parents
Ross: That's nice some people don't!
(A bunch of popular kids start walking towards them)
Ross: Oh no!
Laura: what?
Ross: they are coming! (Grabs Laura's hand)
Laura: And?
Ross: I don't want them to make fun of you, I don't want them to do that, (smiles at Laura) just grab onto me if they say something or try to do something
Laura: okay (grabs Ross by his arm)
Ross: (pulls Laura to his house)
Laura: Hey the house across the street is mine
Ross: Really?
Laura: Yep!
Ross: we live across the street from each other (smiles)
Laura: Well come on let's go to my house! (Drags Ross to her house)
Ross: (smiles)
Laura: (opens door and goes in)
Ross: Woah nice house (goes in and closes door and locks it)
Laura: Thanks! (Smiles)
Ross: Can I get something to drink?
Laura: Yeah kitchen is this way! (Goes to kitchen)
Ross: (follows)
Laura: you can get anything you want from the fridge!
Ross: thanks (opens fridge and sees a cake, and grabs some with his finger) Laura come here!
Laura: Okay! (Goes up to Ross)
Ross: (gets close to Laura and puts icing on her nose)
Laura: I see how it is! (Takes some cake and puts it in Ross cheeks)
Ross: (laughs)
Laura: Come on let's go up to my room!
Ross: okay! (Gets a water bottle)
Laura: (smiles and gets Ross by his arm
Ross: (smiles) you're touching my muscles!
Laura: (laughs and drags him up to her room)
