Cole continued to drag me, his hands gripped mine in a tight embrace as we ran forward, not even slowing down
" Cole stop running! Wait- what about my friends!"
My heart beating erratically. Fear had consume me the moment he lead me straight to the empty and dark streets where he never stopped until I couldn't hold back anymore. I felt scared
Suddenly he stopped, a sigh escaped his plumped lips and I couldn't help how my eyes trailed towards those pink pillows of his. Shaking my head, I glared at him, prayed he didn't notice my stare
"Look, how about this. Once your friends call you, we'll leave and Our night ends there but in the mean time....." He brought his hands up for me to take "explore the night with me"
His grin widen and it took me by surprise. The way his white teeth showed no flaws or whatsoever, the stench of beer didn't even smell that bad in his breath
"Are you gonna stare and ogle me for the rest of the night or are you going adventure this young evening?" This snap me back to reality, my cheeks attacked by red . Surprised that I easily eyed him
How inappropriate of me.
Clearing my throat, my mind began to slowly work like how a brain should. I couldn't go somewhere with a stranger and certainly cute ones. Aren't they usually the bad guys who lured girls in and bam! Your kidnapped and probably your body chopped and sold to someone who'll want some organs .My mind ready to demand him to hand out an ID, a drivers license perhaps or anything that had his name but as seconds past, I realized what he had meant
"Wait...I'm gonna fall asleep on you. I can't even survive the whole night" I protested as Cole began to walk forward where my foot followed his for no apparent reason
"Then I'll stop you" Was all his answer While I huffed in irritation
"Look Cole, I barely know you and I just-"
"You dont trust me" He stated. I didn't even realize he stopped walking until he was too close. Clearing my throat I took a big step back not even answering him "Its because Your mind is telling you to stop. Go home and read and maybe just live your life in that boring little world of yours"
"Hey!" I glared at him. Insulted by his statement "I am not boring and I certainly don't stay at home when I'm bored. I'm only doing this for precaution. I'm a firm believer of not talking to strangers even cute ones" the moment I realize what I said, my face began to heat up. Redden by such bold words I cleared my throat
OK maybe that part was a lie...
"Then why don't you take a leap? Do something crazy for once since you are eighteen" He shrugged but through the moonlight, I could see him smiling down at me
"You would rather spend the whole night with a stranger?" I asked curiously. Watching him through my lashes
he only shrugged. His eyes glinted in humor "I saw an odd creature in a sea filled with other creatures. I thought it would be best to give someone a new beginning"
Unsure, I contemplated the pros and cons
It's either be an angel but clearly a sour old lady or a reckless piece of child who discoveries the troublesome of fun for the first time
And though being a sour old lady seemed better to give a finishing touch for a geek with straight A's and the good girl persona, my mind jumbled out as my body trembled in excitement knowing how much my body responded too easily when Cole mentioned 'Fun'
