The last thing they said where their farewells,
As they left there family with a touch of a hand.
There chances were slim, everyone could tell.
They were known to be proud soldiers that stand,
Amongst the battlefield where the misery holds.
That took place of the World War One.
There body's that always caught the colds.
knew being a soldier was never fun.
One bright happy family received a letter one day.
As that there Father was acknowledged for his bravery.
The letter left them speechless, they couldn't say,
That there father couldn't be saved.
Each year as this day passes their mind.
They hold hands and stayed strong.
Cause soon they will find.
That there Father is long gone.
But they will never forget how brave he was.
To help other soldiers life in needs.
Now he's a memory passed on by many, cause
He was known as the bravest soldier of many.
