Chapter 7: Meeting the Unknown

Yuho's Pov

Waking up the next morning wrapped in Jungkook's arms is the best feeling in the world. How can someone be so perfect, yet so sexy at the same time? I have to say I really lucked out with this guy.

In the midst of admiring is perfect features I see sharp canine teeth poking out of his mout a little. I must still be tired, there's no way that what I'm seeing is real. They're just mythical creatures that were created by the human mind, a figment of the human imagination. Calm down Yuho, you're just tired and not in the right state of mind.

After a little while Jungkook awakes, catching me staring at him. His eyes suddenly grows wide, hiding his face from me. What's that all about?

"Jungkook?"

"Hm?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"What is it," he snapped.

"I was wondering, are you perhaps a mythical being?"

"A mythical being," he questions turning to me baring the sharp teeth at me.

I gulp looking at him. "Do you drink from humans?"

"You know nothing of the mythical world, so please refrain from asking such questions. I'd be more than happy to introduce you to who we are and all that, but I would like to wait for the others to wake up so we could all discuss this together." He grabs my shaking hands looking me in the eye, "please do not be afraid, I'm not going to hurt you. I will explain everything to you babe, I just don't want you to run away when we tell you."

I look into his eyes to see them change to an icy blue as he gives me that gorgeous smile of his. I smile back at him, happy that we're together like this. I love him more than anything, so why would he hide something like this? Is he afraid that I wouldn't accept him? How many more of them are there? Are there other fictional beings roaming this earth unbeknownst to human kind? I guess I'll find out when everyone wakes up.

Everyone slowly wakes up one by one, Suho being the last one. We all sit on the couches, Jungkook telling the others I found out by accident. They all look at me worriedly, expecting me to hate them. I don't hate them, they haven't harmed me in any type of way, so they are all still my very close friends, family even.

Jimin: "So, what would you like to know Yuho?"

"Start off with telling me who you all are first."

Jungkook: "As you can tell we are all vampires. We are not like the vampires that humans have made up though."

"Meaning?"

Namjoon: *Sighs* "We don't drink human blood, in fact it's the most disgusting thing ever, unless you're with someone that you're truly in love with."

Suga: "We only drink blood from animals, but we only need it once a month. We can pretty much survive off of normal food for the rest of the month."

Jin: "Instead of harming humans we protect them."

"From what?"

Hoseok: "From werewolves and demons. They are constantly on the prowl seeking humans to kill. The reason to why there haven't been many killings is due to us creatures that are keeping the human race alive."

"Why haven't you all exposed yourselves then?"

Jungkook: "Because humans will still be afraid of us no matter what. We are different and the human mind cannot wrap their brains around new things, they are afraid of change."

"What if there was a peace treaty between vampires and humans?"

Jungkook: "How do you expect us to accomplish such a thing?"
