I was waiting by the front door for Mitch.

"You're gunna be standing there for a long time. He takes forever." Scott said, emphasizing the forever.

"Shut up." Mitch said with a laugh. "Here, take these and start the car I'll be out in a second." Mitch said.

I take the keys from him and walk out the front door. I walk over to the dark gray Toyota Camry in the driveway and unlock the car. I step inside and close the door carefully making sure I don't mess anything up. I could tell it was a fairly new car by the smell. I reach over to put the key in the ignition and turn it slowly. The car starts up and I buckle my seatbelt, turning the AC on to cool down the car. As I wait for Mitch I start looking around the interior of the car. There was nothing in it except for Beyoncé CDs and a pack of gum. No surprise there.

Ten minutes later, Mitch walks out the front door and steps into the car.

"Scott was right, you do take forever." I say with a laugh.

Mitch scoffs and pushes my shoulder. "Rude." He says while pretending to flip his non existent long hair over his shoulder.

That just makes me laugh harder. Mitch is the sassiest person I've ever met. Sassier than the girls at my school.

"Where to?" I asks after I calmed myself down."

"Hmm....we could get the paint at Home Depot then go to At Home for some furniture."

"Sounds like a plan."

And with that Mitch pulled out of the drive way. He popped in Beyoncé's Lemonade album, not picking a specific song and just let it play. He sang his heart out. Almost like he was performing for thousands of people. He even started doing some dance moves with his arms.

I didn't really know any of the words but even if I did I would be too preoccupied gripping the seat for my dear life. Mitch kept taking his hands off the steering wheel so he could do his dance moves. It felt like I was going to have another panick attack but we stopped. I looked out the window.

" This isn't Home Depot." I say with confusion. We were in a parking lot of a mall I have never seen before.

"Oh well, guess we'll have to go inside." Mitch said with a smirk.

We both got out and Mitch opens the door to the back seat. I come around the door to see Mitch grabbing a black leather purse. He closes the door and locks the car. He holds the purse in the crook of his arm. I couldn't help but smile at him. He was so confident in himself and he didn't care what people thought. I wish I was like that.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing."

Then we link arms and walk into the huge mall. As soon as we step inside, a gush of cool air comes over us. I look around the mall and it was huge. And really fancy. I look around at all the shops. Sephora, Urban Outfitters, Mac, and so much more.

"Where do you want to start?" Mitch's voice broke my focus.

"What?" I thought we were coming in here so Mitch could go shopping. I start to argue that I didn't have money with me to pay him back. He puts his hand up motioning for me to stop talking.

"Where do you want to start?" He tries again.

I sigh. I knew exactly where I wanted to go but I was going to feel guilty if I couldn't pay him back.

"Mit-" I try to say but stop when I see his face. Lips pursing out.

I point to the Sephora store. I need makeup. Bad.

"Good choice." He chirped. "I needed more foundation anyways.

We go in and we unlink arms.

"Meet up at the cashier in a couple minutes, ok?" Mitch says.

I nod and we go our separate ways. I pick up the foundation the matches my skin tone, some bronzer, a concealer, an eyeshadow palette that had neutral colors, two brushes, a blush, liquid eyeliner, mascara, and some matte lipsticks.

I go to the cashier where Mitch was waiting for me with two medium sized bottles of foundation.

"Got everything you need?" He asks.

I simply nodded, already thinking I got too much stuff.

Mitch pays for everything and we walk out the store and head to Urban Outfitters.

I grabbed some crop tops, two shorts, a pair of high waisted jeans, and a rose gold ring.

We head to many places, Mitch buying me whatever I wanted.

We were in a shoe store trying on some low cut boots.

"I'll be right back." Mitch said.

I continued looking through some more shoes. A couple minties later Mitch returned with two things. A dark gray beanie and a white SnapBack with black splattered on it.

"Do you think Scott will like this?" He asked still looking at the two hats.

"I can definitely see Scott wearing those." I say with a nod.

Mitch smiled. I swear I even saw him blushing a little.
