Chapter 15

"Kate I asked who is that?" Carly said. She stood in the doorway with her bag in her hand.

"Ok please don't freak out." Kate said calming Carly down.
" Kate. I asked who is he"
Kate looked down then bam at her cousin then at Thomas who looked really awkward
"Kate?" Carly said waving her arms around
"Alright. He's Thomas Hewitt"
Carts mouth fell open and she started to laugh slightly
"You're joking me right"
"No. I'm not" Kate replied.
"Get him out" Carly muttered
Thomas walked over to Kate and wrapped an arm around her.
"Kate?" Carly said.
Kate looked up.
"Have you been sleeping with him?"
Kate didn't reply
"Katherine smith. Have you been sleeping with Thomas Hewitt?"
Carly asked in a more aggressive tone
"Alright YESS yes I have"
It was quiet for another minute or two.

"Are you pregnant?"
"No. I'm not"
"Carly please. I love him, don't tell."
Carly sighed.
"Alright. But I swear if he hurts you I'm telling. And I guess I can't talk. I've been with Matt all weekend and I've been doing the same"

Carly walked out the room and Kate hugged Thomas.
"I'm sorry Thomas. But I'm not leaving you. I love you"
Thomas hugged back and shocked Kate.
"I love you too"
Kate looked up.
"You- you can talk"
His voice was unused. Kate kissed Thomas.
"Thomas. I think we should go back to your house for a while, let Carly calm down"
Thomas nodded and helped Kate pack a small bag.

At the Hewitt house

Mama came upstairs to Kate and Thomas.
"Here. Drink this tea it will make you both feel better"

While Thomas was asleep Kate went downstairs to talk to chop top and Drayton

"So she freaked out?" Chop top asked
Kate nodded
"Maybe she was just angry she walked in on you and found out. You didn't tell her and she maybe felt betrayed" Drayton added.

"I just don't know what to think. If she tells my aunt I'll be stopped from seeing Thomas for ever. And I don't want that" Kate said putting her head in her hands

"You guys could just run away" chop top suggested
"No I can't do that. When they find us I'd definatly be stopped from seeing Thomas"

Drayton looked at Kate
"Go talk to your cousin. But without Thomas. Just try and explain and hopefully she'd understand."

Kate thanked the two sawyer boys and went over to her house.
"Carly. Where are you?"
"In here" she replied

"Carly. I wanted tell you but I thought you'd laugh at me. I do like him, he spared my life and almost turned against his whole family just to keep me. I'm his only friend. He loves me. This sounds awaits but I love him too. He shares things with me he doesn't even tell his closest family members"

Carly looked up at Kate.
"Ok ok. I get it. You like him, I'm not gonna to tell but I just wish you had said something. I was just worried for you, he's a killer and we've gotten so close I don't think I could bare loosing you. If you like him. Stay with him but please. If he ever does anything to you tell me please"

Kate hugged Carly.
"Thanks for understanding"
Carly nodded.
"Just as long as you don't forget me, squirt" she giggled.
"Why don't my I bring Thomas over. You can get to meet him properly and this time not half naked" Kate laughed.
Carly agreed.

"Thomas. Where are you?" Kate shouted going up the stairs.
He pulled her into the room and pinned her against the wall.

"Thomas are you ok?" Kate asked.
"You're not leaving me!" He whispered in an aggressive tone
"I never said I was. You know I love you"
Thomas looked to the floor then back at Kate.
She kissed him and he kissed back.
"Do you want to come over. Carly said she wants to meet you properly. This time there won't be any arguing. I promise" Kate said.

Thomas nodded leaning into Kate's chest. She stroked his black hair and twirled it in her hands.
"Thomas you know I love you don't you"
He nodded against her chest.

In an hour he'd be meeting Carly properly for the first time.
