"I don't have long" Stacey sniffed as she looked up into Brax's eyes. He rested his forehead on hers "I just wanted you to know I didn't want this, I love you"
"Then come away with me" Brax's suggestion was crazy, but he had no choice. He couldn't lose Stacey "We'll get in the car and just drive"
"Brax don't, I know you would never leave Case behind" Stacey sniffed "I wouldn't let you"
"I can't let them take you away from me" Brax was fighting his own tears.
"I don't think we have a choice, if I stay here now they'll kill you, and me too probably. Its best no one knows about us" Stacey looked at him again "please don't fight me on this Brax, just promise me when all the dust is settled and this is over you will come and find me"
"I promise" Brax hugged Stacey tightly "I love you"
"I love you too" Stacey sighed "I've gotta go, I've been too long already"
"I can't" Brax didn't want to let go. He kept hold of Stacey's hand as she walked away from him.
"Please" Stacey pulled her hand free and walked ot of the door. Brax's eyes filled with tears as he just stood in the middle of the lounge...his whole world fell apart and the love of his life was gone...
