And just like that, Katsumi starts running the opposite way of where me and Ryo were. As soon as she does that, we start running after her as we're calling out her name. "Katsumi! Kat! Wait!" I yell. "Katsumi!" Ryo repeats. But Katsumi shows no sign of stopping. She runs around so quickly that we start to lose her a bit because of the crowds but no way was I going to let her escape this time.
Ryo seemed to have gotten lost since I couldn't hear his voice no longer but I didn't stopped. Katsumi had to come back to us. Minutes later, after running for some time, I can see Katsumi running out to the opening. "Katsumi!" I call desperately at her name. "Please! Listen!" Instead of stopping, she starts walking as if she lost her breath from running and so did I. "Look, your sister is worried sick about you. Junnie is out of control because you disappeared." And with those words, Katsumi pauses in track which made me stop as well. Just staring at her back.
"They were both crying desperately because of you. How would you feel if one of them just ran off like you did and you're feeling hopeless because you couldn't help? Eri told me all about what had happened while I was in America. I know you've been hurting...and I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you...but please, please come back. Parm needs you, Maki needs you, Eri and Junnie needs you.......I need you..."
I can see Katsumi's shoulders tensing up by that. Usually if I had ever said that, Katsumi would just go and make a joke out of it but this time, it was for real...this time it looks like she can't joke around anymore. So she slowly turns to look at me. We stare at each other for some time then a smile creeped upon Katsumi's mouth.

I look at her confused. Why would she smile at a time like this? I try to search for answers in her eyes but it showed nothing...like I don't even know her. That's when I see her mouth curl up and says the words "I'm sorry," almost like a whisper but somehow I heard her through all that crowd, then she stepped backwards. Just as I step a step forward, Katsumi runs off again and into a car with a familiar looking girl. "Katsumi!" But the car had already drove off. "Sh**! Damn it!" I cuss as I stomp my foot on the ground.
That's when Ryo comes running up to me. "What happened? Lost track of her?" He pants. "She left...with Natsumi." I answer with my eyes averting to where the car took off. "Natsumi?" Ryo raises a brow in confusion. "I have no idea either." I reply curtly then turn around and pat his shoulder, telling him we should go back to the car.
"We just gonna give up like that?" Ryo asks as he follows behind me. "No way am I giving up on her." I reply madly about what had just happened. "Then what now? What did she say to you? What happened?" Ryo throws some questions at me.
"She said she was sorry, that's it." Was all I said before I went quiet.
