Torn Between a Best Friend and A Star

Chapter 13

So we were on out way to the mall and parked. 

Me: Alli, Cody, Put on your hoods and sunglasses. NOW!

Cody: Okay, okay.

Alli: Can I use yours? 

I looked at the ones in my bags.

Me: Sure, I got another pair anyways. 

I grabbed out the pair of sunglasses and gave it to her. 

Cody: Now lets just go. 

We walked into the mall and made sure nearly no one spotted us.

Me: Coast is all clear. 

Alli: Good. Now lets go to Claires. 

Cody: Uhh... I'll just be at the Apple store if you guys don't mind. 

Me and Alli nodded our heads. 

When we were near the store, I stopped dead in my tracks. 

Alli didn't notice when she did, she turned around to face me. 

Alli: What are you looking at?

I pointed toward a person. 

Alli: Okay, so?

Me: That's my Best Friend and My Ex!

I should've mentioned this but... My Best Friend is named Kaleb and my Ex was Oliver. 

Man... When I saw them, I only remembered what happened when I last saw Oliver.

Flash Back

I was working at a coffee shop last year in Atlanta, Georgia. I was cleaning up the last few tables there were before I went on my break. 

Jordan: Hey, you can go on your break now.

Me: Thanks!

I put my things away and headed outside. 

I looked ahead and saw a car.

Which look awfully familier. 

Oh.. I rememeber. It was Oliver's. 

Oliver is... well, how can I say this... He's 17... I'm only 13.

He's 4 years older than me. Yea, I know. 

Oh why are you going out with a 17 year old? Well, we met about 2 years ago and my friend's boyfriends brother was Oliver which wah him and so... 

I actually don't want to explian this. 

Anyway, there was an Alley nearby and I heard a girl giggling. 

I begged: Please don't let it be Oliver cheating! Over and over again

I peeked and saw Oliver, kissing a girl. 

I must have been a shodow nearby beause Oliver noticed right away. 

Oliver: Tiffany! Please! Don't go!

I ran away where my feet wanted to take me. 

It was to much to take. This is his 5th time. 

Every 2 weeks or so, he would always have a new girl. 

But It started this month. 

Oliver: Tiffany! Come back!

I stopped in my tracks and turned to him.

Me: Now... what the hell do you want?

Oliver: Please, I'm sorry. Give me another chance!

I scoffed. 

Oliver: Wat's with the scoff?

Me: You blew your chance. This is the 5th time you've cheated. 

Oliver: Come on, you know how us 17 year old guys are.

Me: hm.... Have I already figured it out? Oh wait, YES I HAVE! 

Oliver: Please, I'm sorry!

Me: I've heard way to many 'I'm sorry' in the past few weeks. Well, I'm sorry that I ever dated you!

Oliver: It wasn't me! It was Ruby's fault! She pu-

Me: Oh so here name is Ruby huh? Well, you can go on kissing her all you like cause I am gone!

I turned away to leave. 

But he held on to my waist. 

Me: What do you want? 

Oliver: At least come visit my house tomorrow. I got to show you something.

I laughed. 

Oliver: What with the laughing?

Me: You see, I'm moving away tonight. 

Oliver: Where? 

Me: Canada. 

Oliver: What, why?

Me: You don't need me to explain. You got that Ruby all up in your face you bull. 

I stomped away. But I also had tears in my eyes.

Those 2 years, gone. 

End of Flashback

Me: We have to go, NOW!

Alli: But we barely got here!

???: Hey! Look! It's Tiffany!

Oh snappers...

I heard footsteps. 

???: Hey Tiffany.

Me: What do you want, Oliver?

Oliver: Can't I see my girlfriend?

Alli: Wait, you have a Boyfriend?!

Me: No Alli! This is my Ex! 

???: Are you forgetting about me? 

Me: And this is my best Friend, Kaleb. 

Kaleb: Nice to meet you, Alli? I assume? 

Alli nodded her head. 

I hugged Kaleb and scowled at Oliver.

Me: What are you doing here?

I asked Kaleb in a cheerful voice. 

Kaleb: Well, I moved here just today. I thought I would see what was up around here. 

Oliver: And I am visiting my Aunt and I happen to bump into Kaleb on the plane. 

I rolled my eyes. 

I mouthed 'Is this true?' to Kaleb and he nodded. 

Alli: Hate to break this but Me and Tiffany has got to go!

Me: yea...

Kaleb: Can I come?

Me: Yes

Oliver was going to open his mouth but I stopped him and said 

Me: No

He pouted and we left.
