I gave up last night. I should probably explain.
Last night was the last day at band camp. But it was a school band camp so I'm only there for a few hours. After our showing of what happened for the last 10 days, we had a barbecue.
Of course things happened and after that you told the group chat you were single... people got mad. Eventually I said I give up.
'I give up.
I should give up.
I can't believe... you had me by the finger... by the hand, but you decided to be with another. You tricked me by saying you wanted to date me, but never came close. You never treated me like a friend.
I give up..'
I wanted to cry but what is there to cry for. Life is full of lies to be truthful...
So this...
Unless I regain my hope...
Is why I can't breathe...

So I give up.
