Everything changed so quickly.

One minute, you and your daughter were walking to back to the house, the next you were dragging your child's hand away from people who were acting strange; tackling other citizens and... eating and tearing their flesh off.

"Miya hurry!" you shout to your daughter, then taking matters into your own hands and carrying her while abnormal screams were chasing after you.

[A/n: Miya is girl name I just like to use in various settings.]

"F/n! Miya!"

Turning your head, you finally spot your husband. He was wearing a white shirt which was dotted with blood stains, his black hair was in a mess but he looked unharmed. In his hands was a shotgun, covered in blood.

"Levi!" you shout, running towards him with your child in your arms and protecting her body.

"Get in the house!" he shouts, shooting the closest infected nearby us. "Damn!" he shouts as the gun ran out of ammo. He threw the gun down, running inside with the two of you.

"Levi, what's going on?" you said, seeing him shut the door, locking it.

"Some kind of disease that's spreading epidemic, maybe even pandemic, we have to get out of here." Levi says, glancing back at the door which was rattling with moans which were just outside.

"Mommy, I'm scared." Miya says, hugging you tightly.

"Don't worry," you said, patting her head and looking at your husband.

Levi walked up to Miya, kneeling down and patting her head. "Daddy will protect you and mommy," he says, making her smile.

"What's the plan." You said to him.

"We have to get out of here, let's sneak out in the back, but find some weapons first." Levi says, walking our room and rummaging through the drawers. "Here," he hands you a black pistol, fully loaded. He walked to the closet, bringing out another shot gun and a pistol.

"And you wanted to use these on our daughters future boyfriend," you said, smiling a little then frowning. "Things.. can't be the way it was anymore, can it?"

Levi said nothing, walking up to you and kissing your forehead. "I said I'll protect the both of you."

You nodded, kissing on his lips softly. "Come on," you said and changing into different and comfortable clothes. "We need to pack what we can, then get out of here."

Levi nods, changing too then walking back to Miya and to make her change into different clothes.
