I had just come out the bathroom after a shower when Hussain rushed towards me from his room.
"Mom. Mo-, they took her. I don't know what happened bu-" Hussain said in between large breaths of air.
"Clam down Hussain, who took who?" I asked him, placing my hands on his shoulder.
"I was doing my homework when I heard the ambulance sirens, I ignored it at first thinking it was just passing. Bu-, But then I could hear the sound of the sirens from next door, I looked out my window and I saw her. They had Aiza on the stretcher and they took her in the ambulance."
I stood still, trying to absorb all this.
"Aiza was screaming and Hunter was swearing so loud I could hear it from my room."
My body started trembling uncontrolled. Oh Allah, give me strength. If anything happens to my baby girl, I am going to kill him.
"Mom, are you okay?"
My heart tightened. I was not okay. My baby girl was in pain, how could I be okay. I need to see her right now.
"Call Hunter noww," I ordered Hussain.
He fished out his phone and started dialing, I watched him impatiently waiting for someone to answer from the other side.
"No one is answering."
That idiot, he won't even answer the phone. I grabbed it from Hussain and tried again but it kept ringing and then went straight to voicemail. Dammit. I tried calling Hamid on his phone, maybe he knows something but he didn't pick up either.
That one time you need people to answer the phone but they won't answer. I started pacing around the hallway. The desperation to see Aiza filled and I knew I could not just wait around thinking about all the worse possibilities.I retrieved my bag and scarf from my room.
"Com'on Hussain we are going to find your sister."
"How, though? There are like seven hospitals in this city."
"I will search each and every hospital if it's the last thing I do."

The operating room was supposed to constrict outgoing sounds, but it only worked in the case of humans, it didn't help that I was a jinx.
I could still hear her haunting screams echoing in my ears as prayed to Allah. The rustling of the doctors and nurses as they attempted to save my Aiza kept me hopping.
I could make out her faint heartbeat, but is was fading fast. NOOOO!
I was up in an instant, and barged through operating room door.
There was a blur of people around her but I only saw her, my life it self on the bed; losing.
"The compressions aren't working"
"Dammit. Hand me the defibrillator. NOW!!"
But it was no use, I didn't need to look at the monitor to know. There was no heartbeat.
The loud constant beep envaded every corner of the room.
So I did the only thing I could do. I let go of her.

"Mom this the third hospital we have tried." Hussain informed me sitting back in the car.
"I know that, but we can't stop." I started the car again.
"You're trembling, take a breath for a while."
"I can't take a break, my daughter coul-"
The phone rang, it stopped me mid sentence.
"Dad, somthing happened to Aiza. They took her to hospital, but we searched three hospital. We don't know where else to look fo-" Hussain answered the phone before I grasped it from him.
"We can't find Aiza, god dammit if anything happens to her."
"Nothing will happen to her. I think I may know which hospital they went to, they had regular appointments at Rodger White hospital. I will text the address.I'm finishing work so I will head straight theire now."
"What if I don't make it on time? If something happens to her. I would never get to hold her and tell her how much I love her. What if I los-, tears we streaming down my face now. My heart felt hallow.
" You will not loose her love, just have faith in Allah. Just take a deep breath and head out. I will see you soon and we togther will see our daughter perfectly well." His calm voice assured me.
"Okay, Ok-. I will see you soon." I wiped away the mositure from my face.
I handed the phone back to Hussain, and reversed the car back on the street.
Hope rising, I will get to see my daughter.I will hold her in my arms and tell her that my love for her will never dissappear. I will stand by her side and accept her decision even though I may not agree with it. I just need my baby girl in my life, in my heart.

I tuned back into my surrounding, the doctors and nurses were staring at the heart moniter as her heart picked up it's pace once again.
Everything will alright now, even if I have dammed my soul to the Queen.
