Calypso
I stood there, dazed, as his ship came closer. I could see his cheeky grin forming as he noticed me. The bags under his eyes were also noticeable, as if he hadn't been sleeping either. My heart rate was going absolutely insane but I couldn't move. I was in complete shock and I was actually shaking. He was back. I was leaving. Finally, after all these months, he had come back.
I watched as he walked down the ramp onto the my island of Ogygia. He stood there, standing, smiling at me. I felt so happy I couldn't take it any more. I ran to him and threw my arms around him. I hugged him so tightly it was probably choking him, but who cares?
"I've missed you so much."
He whispered and I grinned from ear to ear.
"I missed you too."
I said as I pulled away and studied him.
"You look terrible."
I felt like that might come across as rude but he just laughed.
"After all this work to get here?" I groaned and punched his arm.
"Well sorry. But you kinda do."
"Ya I know, haven't had much sleep lately."
My heart did a somersault.
"Oh really?"
I asked, grinning.
"I can tell you haven't either Calypso."
I frowned.
"A man isn't supposed to say such things to a lady."
He laughed and grabbed my hand.
"Yes, yes. I'm sorry. Can we go now?"
I nodded. I was finally leaving.
