Alex's POV
I awake in the morning feeling hot and bothered. I get out of bed not disturbing Emily. I go into the bathroom and run a cold bath. It helps a little but soon the heat comes back so I go looking for Emily so she can find me some Tylenol or something
As soon as I find her in her office she looks up. Her eyes show lust which is weird cause I'm in pain. She then picks me up and we go back to our bedroom. She kisses me and starts explaining "since we've been apart for a long time the heat was delayed. Usually it would've happened a week or two after I'd marked you but you left. Now it's natures way of saying get busy. I won't do anything if your not comfortable. The only way to make the heat go away is to make love. I won't unless you want me to."
I nod my head in confirmation and well we didn't leave this bed for a while.
