{i woke up in the middle of night sweatiing and gasping for air i had the dream again more like flashbacks i looked over a roc to see him still sleeping with his arm still around my waist i need someone to talk to the only person i thought of was roc's mom she doesn't know what went on yet and maybe if i tell her i can get these dreams to go away so i picked up the phone and dialed her number}

RM:hello (sounding half asleep)

me:mommy?

RM: daja whats wrong baby is it roc did he do something becuse ill whip his ass

me:(laughs) no well not now but ......in the past

RM:what do you mean?

me:(laughs) its pretty funny um-no its not but roc he used to beat me now before you say anything just let me finish

RM:im listening

me: so roc i dont know why but he used to beat me make me sleep outside and not feed me anything now here's where im skipping to a faster part so it got to the point were prod took me in for i dont know how long and-

RM: (sighs) i know even though you didnt tell me and neither did he but i kind of figured it because i asked to come over and he said no hes away and then i came over one day and you didnt come out of the room look sweetie i know he's done wrong but please dont leave him weither you know it or not i rather have you wit him then one of those fast ass girls that just want his money so please promise me if it happens again to work it out one last time then if you need to leave then leave but i really dont want to see you guys go

me:i know mommy its jus-

roc:(sitting up) who are you on the phone with

RM: ill see you at the last rehearsal okay?

me: yeah bye (hangs up)

roc:who was that

me:your mom (says in an low voice)

roc: why did you call her (stands up out of the bed)

me: b-because she need to know and i couldnt sleep ive been having flashpacks ofour past and i thought me talking to her would help them

roc: why didn't you just talk to me about it (walks towards her)

me: i didnt t-think it would make a difference

roc:(sits on the bed) why are you stuttering-your still scared of me are you

me: no well alit-

roc:(pushes everything off the dresser) i thought we got past this shit !

me:calm down (slowly stands)

roc: calm down for what you don't know how it feels your scared of me and were getting married tom-(looks at the clock) today why in the fuck-(puts his head in his hands)

me:(walks to him nd rubs his back) im not leaving you okay so dont turn it into something its not aight i promise

roc: i knew this shit was going to happen i was just hoping it didnt i was going to tell everybody at the wedding today i swear if i coulc change everything i would but i can't and at some point in our relationship you thought of leaving me how do i know you can't think that again i didnt get to take your virginity and now you dont want to never mind all i know is i fucked up bad and koien that fucking ko- (balls up his fists)

me:baby just relax okay

roc: do you really want to marry me?

me:what?

roc: i said do you really want to marry to

me: of course if i didn't i would have said no and embarassed you (laughs) but i didnt (rubs through his hair and sits on his lap)

roc: (rubs her thigh) today marks the day we can put this past us deal? (holds out his pinky)

me:deal (avoids his pinky and kisses him)

roc:i should offer pinky promisses often huh?

me: whateve- what in the hell why is it so cold in here

roc:shh ashanti's sleep

me: you weren't saying that a few minutes ago

roc: whatever

me: why am i just in my bra and underwear where i my my clotthes

roc: you have a bra on thats clothes which im kinda liking now (smirks)

me:stop it! (pulls the cover over her to cover up)

roc: okay okay chill we got back here and you had fell asleep in the car i didnt want to wake you so i bought you in here and took your clothes off because i know it would be uncomfortable going to sleep in those clothes

me: oh i thought you tried to-

roc: now when your sleep is that any fun?(pushes her back on the bed)

me:it wouldn't be fun at all (turns the lights off)

roc: thats what you think (lays down and pulls her close to him)

me: thats what i know (kisses his nose)

roc: i didnt want my nose kissed i wanted my lips (pulls her closer)

me: i think your bipolar because you were mad one minute and happy another

roc: dont change the subject i want the lips

me: lips my-

roc: ill tear it up so dont say it have you walking on cruches

me: your nasty

roc: like i said baby girl these lips cant wait to taste your skin (leans into her neck)

me: fine dammit corny self (kisses his lips and tries to pull away)

roc: not so fast (grabs her face and sits on top of her)

me: its 12:45 i want to go to sleep

roc: i do too so i guess we should speed this process us (laughs)

me:go to sleep (turns off the lamp)

roc: even better with the lights off

me: stop being corny saying song names and let me sleep

roc: yea im going to let you sleep alright (wraps his arms around her)

me: i mean it im tired

roc: and i mean it to

me:whatever you can stay up im going back to bed (snuggles in his chest)

roc: big baby (pulls her close)

me:its your fault

roc: ill smush you now shut up (laughs)

me:(smacks his chest) a hole

roc: why wont you say the word huh?

me: because im trying to stop now shh im asleep (closes her eyes)

roc:how are you as-

me:shh

roc:b-

me:shhh

roc; your not even-

me; shut the-

roc: okay im going to sleep
