Chapter 33

Leorio made a conclusion; this was definitely his last child. He couldn't bear with the messes Kurapika would make, and every time he told him to 'do this or do that,' his scarlet eyes arrive and everything just goes downhill.

Even though he couldn't stand it, Leorio was still there to always comfort Kurapika. He had to bear with his cravings and mood swings simultaneously.

"Let me finish my chocolate Leorio!" The blonde yelled at his husband, jumping up childishly and trying to grab it from Leorio. He was already tall enough and since it was in his hand, his arm was raised and it was even harder to get.

"Kurapika, please just calm down. Remember what I told you with Luca, you have to eat healthy as well!" Leorio shouted.

Kurapika glared at his husband with his scarlet eyes. This time, he slapped him across the face before flipping over the couch in the living room. Then walking into the kitchen, the blonde flipped the chairs and the table, taking everything out of the cabinets and then doing the same for the refrigerator.

Leorio was surprised he slapped him, rubbing his red sore cheek. "Kurapika, please stop! You're making a mess again!"

"Give me my chocolate then!" Kurapika yelled, walking out of the kitchen and into the hallway.

"No! Leo needs healthy food!" Leorio yelled to his husband, sighing loudly. Kurapika walked into the bathroom, taking everything out of the medicine cabinet. He was about to go to their bedroom, but the blonde fell asleep and was laying on the floor.

Leorio put the candy down on the coffee table, flipping the couch over back to normal. "Jeez...this is definitely our last child..." he sighed, walking into the hallway and lifting his husband into his arms, laying him down on the bed in their room.

"Papa?" Luca said, now awake. He put his arms up, wanting to be lifted.

"I have to do a lot of work sunshine." Leorio said to his son,walking over to the bassinet and lifting him up. "Papi Pika made a mess.." he walked out of the bedroom, showing his son the kitchen. "See? I have to clean this all up."

"Papi Pika do?" Luca asked as he was placed on the table after Leorio fixed it. The doctor nodded, fixing the chairs and pushing them near the table. "Yes. He did the same thing when you were inside him."

Luca was surprised that he caused so much trouble to the couple. The baby boy responded with noises of surprise. Leorio picked up all the spices, canned foods and such and put them back in the cabinet in a neat and orderly fashioned, then doing the same for the refirgerator.

After the kitchen was back to normal, the doctor walked inside the bathroom and cleaned up. Exhausted, the doctor walked back into the kitchen and pulled out his phone. He dialed Chidzu's number, tapping his foot.

Chidzu was on break, and right away she heard her phone ring she picked it up. "Leorio? What's up? How's Kurapika?" She asked.

"Awful. He made a mess again. He even slapped me this time. This has been happening for weeks, and I'm getting backaches from bending and lifting things up." He sighed. "He gets a lot more sickness and pain. He pukes about 4 times a day and has a headache or backache every hour."

"Damn..." Chidzu said in a low voice. "In 4 months, bring him to me. I'm going to check the baby and see if everything is alright. Good luck, Leorio."

"See you in four months, and thank you." Leorio hung up, putting his phone in his pocket. He lifted his son from the table, walking into the living room. Putting his son on the floor, he gave him a smile. "Try to walk."

Luca stood up onto his feet, holding his arms out so he wouldn't lose balance. He moved one foot at a time, the right before the left. The boy giggled as he was walking, clapping while he did. "Yay!" He then fell over, but into his father's arms.

"That's my sunshine." Leorio smiled, kissing his son's nose. "You're a very quick learner. I wouldn't be surprised if you started talking sentences and you being very knowledgeable just like your Papi."

"Yay!" The boy said again in joy.

"Keep practicing sunshine. I'm going to go check on Kurapika." Leorio said, standing up, walking inside their room. Kurapika was awake, sitting up on the bed and rubbing the side of his head.

"Leorio...'" the blonde whispered his husband's name, looking up at him. "What happened? Did I make a mess again because of my cravings and mood swings?"

Leorio nodded. "Yes, you did. You're a lot of work to put up with, that's for sure." He sat down on the bed next to him. "Kurapika,"

"Yes?" Kurapika looked up at him, raising an eyebrow. He then sat on his lap, looking into his eyes

Leorio grabbed onto his hand, interlocking his fingers with his. "You can be ridiculous during pregnancy, but I still love you and I'm always here to comfort you."

"Leorio..." Kurapika said softly, interlocking his fingers with his husband and wrapping his other arm around him. "Thank you...I love you so much..."

"I love you so much too." Leorio said, leaning their foreheads against each other. The married couple then kissed on the lips for a long moment.

Luca walked all the way to his parent's room, giggling at his parents. "Yay!" He said, but to inform him he walked all the way over here.

The parents pulled away from the kiss instantly as they heard the voice of their son. "L-luca!" Leorio said, his face red.

Kurapika didn't worry about Luca seeing them kiss, rather taking the moment happily and proudly. "You can walk!" He said, getting off the bed and picking him up, hugging him.

"Papi Pika, Yay!" Luca called out and giggled again, hugging his blonde father.

Leorio scratched the back of his head, then starting to laugh. "Yeah, we practiced why you were sleeping all the time. We wanted to surprise you."

"And he's still not even a year old..." Kurapika smiled, patting his head. "That's my good boy..." he smiled and kissed his forehead.

Luca clapped his hands together, rubbing his nose against Kurapika's. He then let out baby noises of joy. Leorio laid back on the bed, yawning and closing his eyes. "Watch over him for a while. I'm exhausted and need to get some rest."

Kurapika let out a small laugh, then nodded. "Alright, sleep well my love..." he said.

"Before I do, Chidzu said to bring you in the hospital at the four month of your pregnancy. She wants to check on Leo when he's grown a bit."

Kurapika nodded. "Alright, thanks for letting me know." The blonde said and walked over to him, kissing his cheek. Leorio smiled, falling asleep instantly. Now Kurapika got to spend time with Luca, even though that might mean he would get a craving, or his mood swings or sicknesses will pop out of no where.
