It's been 4 months of the pregnancy, and Leorio, Kurapika, and Luca went to the LoveForAll to get a checkup on Leo. Kurapika sat up on the bed, looking at Chidzu. "Well, how is everything? You used your eyes, didn't you?"

Leorio was sitting on a chair next to the bed, Luca in his lap. He was curious. They already knew the baby was a boy, but wondered if Leo was alright.

"Kurapika, Leorio..." Chidzu said their names, looking down. "Leo won't be able to talk...just make noises and scream. His body won't function greatly all the time either...he can move sometimes, but not all. It's...a mix of ceberal palsy and nonfluent aphasia." Chidzu explained.

Kurapika's eyes widened and instantly turned scarlet, tears rushing down his face. "No...this can't be..stop lying...he is healthy..please tell me he's healthy!"

"Kurapika...I don't want to repeat myself. It's painful informing you..." Chidzu said, looking to the side. "I'm never wrong...remember that..."

Leorio was crying himself, looking down at the floor. "Leo...won't die though...right? We get to live with him...and he can be with us?" The doctor was so depressed he wasn't even using his brain. He knew Leo would live with the mix disorder, but he was worried. How will his son grow? How will everything go through the years?

Kurapika buried his face into his hands, tears from his face staining his face. "I don't even care...do a c-section on me again on the ninth month...I don't care how much it hurts...I want to see Leo..."

Chidzu slowly nodded. "If that is what you wish. Leorio, Kurapika is willing to get hurt for your baby. Do you agree with him getting a c-section?"

Leorio didn't want his husband in pain, but he also wanted to see his Leo. "Do whatever it takes...for him to live and be with our family..."

Chidzu nodded. "Alright, then another c-section will take place." She said, looking down. "I'm sorry...I didnt want this happening. I don't know how it did. Maybe someone in your families grew up with it or who knows. Usually I'll be able to tell, but I'm getting older myself and things are blurry..."

Kurapika stood up, looking around the room. His eyes were still scarlet and his breathing became heavy. He couldn't believe his son had a disorder. "No..." he started. "No..." the blonde repeated. "This...can't be..." he was getting a fever, his vision blackening. "I won't...let..."

Chidzu hurried over to Leorio, taking Luca out of his arms. "Stand up, put your arms out. Quick !"

Leorio was confused, but did it anyway. He stood behind Kurapika and put his arms out. Kurapika fell into his arms, falling unconscious and his fever rising. "Kurapika!" He cried out.

"Papi Pika!" Luca cried, watching as his father fainted. "Papi Pika!" He repeated, crying louder. He was worried about his blonde father.

Leorio laid him down on the bed, rushing to get a cloth and wetting it. He put it onto Kurapika's forehead, crying. "Please...just..." he checked his pulse and his eyes, much like when he was checking on Majitani during the hunter exam.

"Good...he's still alive..." Leorio sighed in relief. "This is the highest his fever has ever been...he was worried about Leo so much..he fainted..." he frowned, placing his hand onto his husband's stomach. "Our little Leo..."

"Leo?" Luca questioned. He heard the names of the disorders but didn't know what they meant.

"In easier terms, Luca, you can call me Papa, and Kurapika Papi Pika. You just learned how to walk too...Leo will struggle with walking and won't do well, and he can't talk either."

Luca's eyes widened, a frown on his face. "Leo no?" He started to cry. "Leo...Leo..." he repeated, but in a sadder tone. He couldn't say too much words, so he usually just repeated stuff.

Leorio nodded, rubbing Kurapika's cheek. "I feel like...this is all my fault..." he gently rested his head against his stomach, crying. He started to feel movement from Leo. He could move his feet back and forth but it was only when his body agreed with him.

Leorio's eyes widened as he felt the small movement of his son, rubbing Kurapika's stomach gently. "I'm so sorry Leo..." he apologized even though it wasn't even his fault.

"Papa..." Luca didn't want his father blaming himself for Leo's illness. He didn't do anything whatsoever.

Hours later Kurapika woke up, looking at Leorio who's face was still on his stomach. The blonde placed his hand onto the back of his husband's head. "Don't blame yourself..." he whispered calmly. He still was filled with sadness, but he figured he'd just calm down for now.

His eyes were now grayish blue again, slowly lifting his face off his stomach. "You didn't do anything, trust me. It isn't your fault..." Kurapika said and kissed his forehead, wiping his tears away.

Leorio hugged his husband tightly. It was useless wiping his tears because he kept on crying. "Kurapika..." he whispered his name..

"It's okay...I was just scared and worried. Disorder or not, we will love him and take care of him. He was still be our child..." Kurapika was the one doing the comforting now, rubbing his husband's back.

Leorio hugged him tightly, then nodding. "Yes, I know that's true...but I wanted him to run...to play with his older brother. But he can't..."

Kurapika placed his hand onto his head again. "Luca will still love him...trust me. We will all love him. It's okay...we will still be great parents and raise him up to be a good boy..."

"You're right..." Leorio said, a small smile on his face. "Thank you for comforting me...I just hope he enters the world knowing people love him, even with a disorder." He stood up and looked at Chidzu. "We'll see you in five months..."

Chidzu nodded. "Right. Once again, I'm sorry..."

Kurapika and Leorio nodded. "Thanks..." They both said simultaneously. The blonde took Luca from her and the two walked back home. Their baby has a disorder, a mix.
