Chapter 63
Hello. Almost forgot to update bc I started school today. Enjoy.

***Liliana's POV***

"All electronics stay in the house!" my mom said as she walked into the kitchen. "I mean it, Caleb."

I watched as my brother rolled his eyes and put his phone on the kitchen counter.

"Okay, let's get the car situation figured out." she said. "Who wants to ride with grandma and grandpa?"

No one said anything.

"I would, but I don't want to leave Ashton alone." I said.

"Okay so Annie and Ashton are out of the question, Charlie and I can't do it, and Blake and Lance get claustrophobic. It's between Caleb and Jake."

"Rock, paper, scissors?" Caleb asked.

Jake nodded and played the game. A smirk appeared on his face when he had scissors and Caleb had paper.

"Whatever." Caleb shrugged. "You have to sit next to the lovebirds."

"Damn it."

"Jake. Language." my mom said.

He rolled his eyes and walked out of the kitchen.

"Alright crew. Let's roll out." Charlie said and walked out of the room.

When Ashton and I first got home, Charlie was the one that picked us up from the airport. Things were definitely awkward. There wasn't much talking at first, but eventually, they both got over it.

"You ready?" I asked Ashton.

He nodded with a fond smile. We locked pinkies and walked to the minivan together.

"Get in the back. I'll sit in the middle."

"I'll see you on the other side!" Caleb yelled as he ran to our grandparents' vehicle.

I sighed and got in next to Ashton.

"You're the first non family member to come on the nature retreat." I told him.

"It's an honor."

I smiled and we locked pinkies again.

"The campsite is two hours away, so get comfortable." I said as I put my head on his shoulder.

When the rest of my family was in the car, we started the journey. Blake and Lance were talking about where they were going to go fishing, and Jake sat beside me quietly.

"Lily." Ashton whispered.

"Hmm?"

"Michael said that when he and Luke get back, they want to go on a double date."

"And do what?"

"You have to choose."

"But I suck at choosing dates." I sighed.

"Yes you do," he smiled. "but a very wise friend of mine told me that if you have a heart of gold and an ample appendage, everything will work out."

"Friend?"

"Girlfriend." he wrapped his arm around me and hugged me.

"That's what I thought."

Jake groaned and tried to move away from me.

"Ashton are you going to fish with us or set up camp with the girls?" Blake asked.

"I don't know. I guess I could go fishing with you all."
