Today was the day. You were seeing your best friend,Olly,after 2 years.
"Josh!!we gotta go pick up olly from the airport now!" You yell from the living room of your shared apartment.
"ok ok,here I come."your boyfriend says calmly,walking out of your bedroom.

"he should already be at the front."you say pulling up.
Soon enough,you see your best friend walk out of the doors of the airport. You get out of the car and run to him."OLLY!" You yell and engulf him in a hug. "hi y/n. Oh my god,its been forever" he says enthuastically.
"tell me about it"you say,getting back into the car,josh tense in the passengers seat.
"oh. Olly,this is my boyfriend josh,josh this is olly." You say,introducing the two. "nice to meet you." Josh says,less tense. "same to you." Olly says with a kind smile.

All three of you were sitting on the couch,talking and catching up,well,two of you. "ill be right back,I'm gonna go to the bathroom."josh says.
When josh leaves the room,olly gets a little close to you.
"so,y/n,I've been wanting to tell you something...but its hard to when you've been with josh...i like you...A LOT ." He says with a smirk. "Olly,I'm with josh why would you-"olly cut you off by kissing you. You tried to get him off when josh walked in.
"OH MY GOD..." He yells. Olly backs up.
"Josh,I-"you start to say.
"what?y/n?'its not what it looks like,'.right?" Josh says, anger present among his features.
"Josh" you mange to say,tears welling up in your eyes.
"I'm gonna go..."olly says,walking out.
"yeah,me too." Josh says as he walks out as well.
You sit there thinking about how your "best friend" ruined everything. How josh was probably not coming back. You knew it. You weren't good enough anyway.
You go into your room and put on pajamas and lay in bed. You decide to text josh.

Y:listen. Ik you're probably not coming back. But olly kissed me. I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. I love you but obviously you wouldn't feel the same If you had just left without listening. I knew i wasn't good enough anyway. Goodbye.

An hour passed and you knew he wasn't coming back. Until you heard a knock on your bedroom door.
"y/n?"you heard Josh's voice,shaky from crying.
You pretended to sleep.you felt movement on the other side of the bed,meaning josh had just laid next to you.
He wrapped his arms around you and whispered.
"I'm sorry.i love you.i talked to olly and he admit it. I know you wouldn't do that to me. Goodnight."
"i love you too."you whispered back and fell asleep.
