No alarm clock was heard that morning.
Where he woke up beeping filled the room but not from the old alarm clock that woke him up every day for the past 20 years except when he fell asleep on the porch.
Benjamin was in a coma.
While in his sleep he experienced a strange phenomenon, he died in his dream but he was still alive in reality.
And during this he is still dreaming unable to wake up until he wishes to, no matter how long it takes, only when he realizes it's no longer real.
Now reader don't be too alarmed the story will continue through the week he returns to the years that haunt him and the green eyed girl who's story unfinished. Our story will now split in two, one showing Bennie's journey and Sophia's, both who are traveling into his past.
