"Oh my god! You're useless!"
my mothers words trailed off into the distance. I stood there saying not a thing.
"Are you ignoring me?!" She started towards me and slapped me right across my left cheek. Tears spilled out of my eyes and blood dripped out my nose.
"God just get your ass to school!" hatred fell upon her gaze as it met mine. I stormed out of the door and sighed. Every morning is like this. I sniffed quietly and wiped the blood dripping down my chin. I don't care that she treats me like a slave. She'll regret it one day.
~At School~
I sat silently on the swing set glaring at the other kids smiling and laughing. I sighed. I have never felt what they can.
"Oh! Hey freak!" A voice said behind me. I turned around to see Harriet Perri. The meanest girl in school.
"You loner! Nice headband! where did you get it? A dumpster behind 'Dorks-R-Us?'" I have little horns growing out of my head. I forgot to mention. Just a skull malfunction.
"Yeah! I bet your mom disowned you!" Said Taylor Morris. Her "Trusty Sidekick". I stood up from the swing and marched over to her.
"WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE?!" Shock fell upon their faces and I heard a voice call out behind me.
"Now Lucy!" I turned to only see my teacher. "You know not to say such things!" I scoffed.
"But Ms. Jenna, Harriet started it!" She sighed and faced Harriet.
"Is that true, Harriet?" She stayed silent and her face turned pale. "Answer me, please. "
Harriet gulped and yelled, "OF COURSE NOT!" My head snapped to her and and I shouted
"WHAT?! YOU LIAR!" Ms. Jenna sighed and walked away to let us argue.
~Back at Home~
God, don't make noise, DON'T make noise, DON'T MAKE NO--
"LUCY?!" I quickly closed my eyes and braced for impact.
"Why did you close your eyes?" I opened them back only to see my elder sister.
"L-Lithium?" She chuckled.
"Were you expecting someone else?" I sighed and grinned.
"You scared me. I thought you were mother coming to beat me. " She looked at me with sorrow written in her eyes.
"Oh. I'm sorry." I looked at her confused.
"Hm? What for?" She smiled.
"Scaring you." After a few seconds we heard footsteps coming from the staircase. Shit. She's here already. Mother came up to is with her face caked in makeup, red, glittery eyeshadow was all over her eyes and she had dark red lipstick on. He shirt was cut down to her rib cage so her breasts were clearly visible.
"Hm? Oh. Lithium, I'm going out. Tell your father there was a family emergency." Lithium hesitated.
"Y-Yes m'!" She glared over at me, and my heart started to throb.
"Hm? Oh. Lucy?" I jumped.
"Y-Yes?" She sighed annoyingly.
"Just be good for your sister." She walked over to the door.
"I'll be back by 11:30. Don't do anything stupid. Ok?" She turned and waved and slammed the door. What the hell was that?
"Hey sis?" I said quietly.
"What?"
I sighed. "I'm going to the beach." She jumped and her head snapped to mine.
"NO! You can't go out there by yourself! Besides! What if Mot-" I interrupted her.
"Lithium," I smiled. "I'll be back before that." I ran to the coat rack by the door and grabbed my jacket. "You can trust me. Ok?" I opened the door and ran to the beach.
~At the Beach~
The waves crashed against the sand, and it brought peace to my mind. I could stay here forever.
"I-Izzi! Wait!"
Just then a girl with short brown hair just fell on me. I fell on the ground and hit my head rather hard.
"Oh my god Izzi! Apologize!"
A young boy slightly older then me, then appeared. He had bright blue-green eyes and light brown hair that was swished to the side. My heart started to pound. What is this feeling?
"IZZI!"
The girl sighed and said, "Fine. I'm sorry miss."
You better fucking be. The boy then walked over and held out his hand.
"I'm so sorry about my sister. She is a knuckle-head. Let me help you up." I smiled and grabbed his hand. He pulled me up and I just could no stop smiling.
"A-Are you okay?"
I giggled. "Oh! Yes! I'm fine! Thanks!" he smiled back and said, "What's your name? I'm Ian." I blushed.
"Lucy." he soon said, "So how will you thank me?" He said it sarcastically but I took it literal. I smiled. I have an idea of what I can do. I stepped closer to him and planted a light kiss on his lips. He blushed bright red and I smiled even bigger then I was before. Ah. Satisfaction.
"Was that good enough?" I said jokingly.
"Y-Yeah." I'm pretty sure he is still trying to process what just happened. I noticed that the sun was almost set.
"Crap! I got to go! Sorry!" I ran off away from him and left him alone. A single tear fell from his eyes, for he had never felt what he was feeling.
"I hope she'll be here again." He said quietly.
