The Next Step ~ Multinationals (Season 6.5)

I feel it now

Miss Kate POV
I'm in the office alone right now because I'm thinking about Amanda and how she has hurt herself. I'm hoping it's nothing serious, But in the mean time. I have to think about A troupe and Who should be on it. After watching some of the dancers that did make it onto A troupe before , I realise maybe I was a little hasty with SOME of them. So there won't be many changes, I don't think. But saying that, there is some dancers who I think would Benefit missing out to improve more because this is a big competition and we are extremely lucky to be going despite loosing internationals!

Who knew ink and paper could feel so heavy? Miss Kate reluctantly put the list of successful dancers down on her desk. With everything that was happening and everything that had happened; It felt great to be back.  Out through the stained glass different colour Windows, Laid the dance floor. She stood up and removed her Shoes and socks, there was only one thing on her mind: Dance!

Miss Kate POV
I'm walking out to the dance space slowly and I feel like I'm taking it all in again for the very first time! It feels great to have this moment. I'm performing the same Solo that got me into A troupe all those years ago. But as I'm dancing, it changes. As if I'm writing a new chapter in my life. It's magical, and I love it so much!

The next step

The dancers came into the studio around 10 o clock to find out as if they had made it or not. Giselle had arrived long before the others, She didn't really know what to expect from this new team. After all, Kate hadn't showed her just yet.

"Good morning everyone, How are we all?" She asked, putting on a brave face. "I have the names of the team going to Multinationals and I'm going to waste no time in explaining it. So in no particular order-

1) Chloe 2) Rachel 3) Noah 4)Emily 5) Ollie 6)Eldon 7) Riley) 8) James 9) Sophia 10) Carmine 11) Piper 12) Amy 13) Cierra want to say a massive thank you to everyone that auditioned. There are also some dancers that have a spot on B troupe and J troupe so -
1) Bethany, B troupe for now. 2)Lilly, J troupe for now. 3)Joey, B troupe for now and 4) Hunter, B troupe for now. The rest of you that didn't make it in, if you could head out it would be much appreciated thanks"

Carmine POV
I'm very excited for this opportunity, there is no way I'm going to waste it!

I can't believe I'm not on A troupe!

James POV
I'm very happy about going to this competition with my sister and Riley and Eldon but it's upsetting that Hunter didn't make it through. I think maybe there was a confidence issue there today but I think he'll be good for the Regionals team next year.

Rachel POV
I'm really shocked to be completely Honest, I never thought I'd make it in, let alone twice! But I'm so new to dancing and There is a part of me deep down that thinks I've stolen this spot from someone that really deserves it.

Richelle POV
I'm not going to Multinationals! There is no way that Kate would pick some singer from lost and found over me! What is she thinking!?!

Hunter walked closer to Emily, "Congratulations on getting on the team" He smiled, running his fingers through his thick brown hair. Emily smiled back, "Thank you, I'm sorry you didn't make it but regionals next year for sure!" He smiled at that too, "So what will you do now?" She asked, "Well I've got a spot on B troupe, I'll head there and work my way up" He answered, Emily nodded, "Sounds like a plan"

Emily POV
It's sad hunter won't be coming to Multinationals with us but I'm really happy with this team. It's like our Old family Almost. Like the old A troupe that won Regionals, And nationals all that time ago; seems like forever ago now.

"Well this is officially the Multinationals team! Congratulations everyone!" Kate yelled, but there was a small part of her that knew Amanda should have had a spot on A troupe that time. "Well, First things first. You all know by now that Amanda hurt herself yesterday and as a result of that won't be on the troupe. So I thought we could choreograph a get well soon dance next time we see her maybe?"

A troupe agreed with her, "Great, Well I'm going to the doctors to get the final Answer, Giselle I leave you in charge" Richelle still looked hasty, How was she not on the Multinationals troupe?

Richelle POV
I may not be on the Multinationals troupe now, But we have a long way to go before we get there - I will Make A troupe

Miss Kate POV
I pray it's not to serious!

Toronto General hospital

An anxious Amanda sat with crutches in the waiting area of the hospital waiting for the results of the scan. Her mum had been VERY persuasive about getting the results quicker. She always hated hospitals, all the death and sadness kept her well away from them, Kate appeared moments later.

"Hey Amanda it's me, Miss Kate" She said, "Hey, What are you doing here?" The dancer asked, not sure of what to do in her presence. Kate sat down next to her, "I'm here to support you" Before She could answer, the doctor called her in.

Amanda POV
I don't like I've ever been this nervous in my life! As I step inside the room. Right away all my nerves kick in and I want to get out of there; but I can't.

"Sorry about my mum, She tends to be a bit pushy when there's a risk to my dance career" Amanda kindly explained, the doctor's eyes widened. "You a dancer?!" He asked, sounding more worried. Amanda nodded slowly, "Is that a problem?" He shock his head, "I don't think it should complicate anything, but it's not good news"

Amanda POV
The moment I feared has arrived.

"There is some damage to your ankle but it's nothing that shouldn't fix its self in a month or two, but you will need to come back for check ups and no dancing on it either!" He warned.

Amanda POV
Okay, I'm going to be  honest. I was expecting a lot worse than that.

"But keep your ankle weight free and elevated. You should get a full recovery" He said, before dismissing her out of the room.  She stepped back out of the room, waddling slowly with her crutches. "So?" Her mum, Brenda asked. "No dancing for two months, will make a full recovery!" She yelled.

Miss Kate POV
Agh that is a huge weight lifted of my shoulders, looks like we'll be seeing Amanda back at the studio very soon.

Amanda POV
If nothing goes wrong for me and my ankle heals in time for multinationals, I may get to fill in for another dance that suddenly can't go so all is not lost...yet.

Next time ~ Miss Kate Decides a new A troupe needs a new uniform. What consequences will it have on Giselle?

A/n: So, Amanda Can't dance for two months but will anything stand in her way? Richelle in her own words 'Will make A troupe' Will she result to desperate measures. I'd say Kates a troupe is better than Jennys. I wasn't going to post this today but I am because I now have a role in a production of Joseph and the technicolour dream coat so I was just gonna share that will Y'all!
