A New Life (adopted by the sidemen)

Ch. 5 FWB

Lux's POV

I woke up with a jolt and heaving breathing. Sitting up in bed I try to recall the horrible nightmare that I just can't seem to remember . To my right the clock read quarter passed 8. Sighing I swing my legs over the edge of the bed and head over to my luggage pick out an outfit. Deciding on a plain white long sleeve shirt that had thumb holes and my sidemen joggers, I head to the bathroom I shared with Simon.

After taking a mildly scolding shower I then changed into my clothes and brushed out my hair. Not really caring for makeup today I head downstairs. As far as I can tell everyone is still asleep so I decided to do something nice for them and cook breakfast. I may not be a 5 star chef but I can make some banging pancakes.

Looking the cabinets I surprisingly find all the ingredients for my personal caramel pancakes recipe that I created myself. Measuring everything out I made a batch of caramel pancakes and a batch of normal pancakes.

Pouring the first few pancakes into a pan, I heard footsteps towards the kitchen. Turning around I see a sleepy JJ shuffle into the room then bump into the island causing me to giggle and make JJ jump.

"Shit Lux!" JJ exclaimed throwing his hand onto his chest, "You scared the ever living fuck outta me."

Putting my hands up in surrender I giggle more, "I only giggled, not my fault you're a wuss." JJ faked a hurt look but then smiled. He sat at the island and pulled out his phone. He started to play Friends With Benefits. I rolled my eyes and poured in more pancakes, "You just gotta have that self promo mate."

JJ just laughs as he moves next to me while dancing and singing. He grabs my hands and swings them around in a weird random dance. "Let's be friends with benefits," JJ sings still flailing my arms around.

Giggling as I sing I continued the song while spinning us around the kitchen, "We can chill and Netflix." We continued for the rest of the song, laughing like mad men. By the end of the song I suddenly remember about the pancakes on the stove. "Shit the pancakes." Taking them off the fire I see that they are burnt, "Dammit JJ, the pancakes burned cause of you." I fake scolded him causing him just to laugh.

For the next 20 minutes JJ helped me make the rest of the pancakes and set out some coffee and tea for the boys. "I didn't know that you could somewhat cook JJ." I laughed while cleaning the pans that we used.

"There's a lot you don't know about me." He winked mysteriously making me roll my eyes.

"Alrighty Mr. flirt, how bout you go wake the children cause the pancakes are getting cold." I asked.

He threw his hand to his forehead, "Yes ma'am." With that he left to go wake everyone. A few minutes later screaming and laughing could be heard throughout the whole house. Soon enough JJ came back with everyone sleepily/angrily following him.

Josh's eyes immediately widened when he saw the food, "And she knows how to cook!" He said amazed with a huge smile plastered onto his face.

"What can I say, I'm talented." Flipping my hair sassily I added, "But JJ did help a bit." JJ sat there with a proud expression planted on his face.

Time Skip

After breakfast the boys helped clean up and we retreated to the living room to play Fifa. The games get pretty competitive but I won most of them. Finally getting bored of playing I turned to Josh, "Are we gonna play Fifa all day or do something?" I asked hinting that I didn't want to stay home and be lazy.

"I guess we could go furniture shopping." He suggested having some of the boys agreed.

Tobi looked down at his watch and groaned, "Man wish we could join but Harry, Ethan and I gotta go. We're getting some things delivered but we gotta be there to sign off and unpack the stuff."

"Aw you losers are no fun." I said nudging Harry a bit who was closest to me.

Ethan, Harry, and Tobi stood up and gathered their things, "Well maybe we can hang out later." Ethan suggested everyone agreed sending them on their way.

Josh stands up, "Imma go get ready then, everyone be at the door in 10 minutes." With that we went our separate ways to our room. Having to only slip on my shoes I was back down stairs within 3 minutes. Sitting on the stairs became boring so I decided to go bother someone, that someone being Vikk.

Vikk had his door closed so I knocked and waited for permission to enter. A muffled come in could be heard so I walked in. "Vikk why are you on your computer?" I asked seeing him sitting at his desk, "We gotta go in a few minutes."

Vikk glances to me then back at his computer where a voice was talking, "Babe who's that?" The familiar australian voice questioned. I've heard that voice before but I couldn't place it. Stepping behind Vikk I see that he's on skype with a certain blonde haired youtuber.

"Lachlan this is Lux, Josh's daughter I was telling you about." Vikk said gesturing to me. I see a slight blush rise on his cheeks for some reason.

"Oh well hello Lux! I'm Lachlan." He waved at me happily while a huge smile grew on his face.

"Hi." I wave back slightly shyly, "I watch your videos so I know of you." I confessed smiling at the blonde who's smile grew even more. Turning to Vikk who has a big smile plastered to his face, "Hey we better get going we gotta be down stairs in like a minute." I say seeing Vikk frown slightly.

Vikk says goodbye to Lachlan as they both blow a kiss at one and another. I also say goodbye right before Vikk turned off skype. Vikk stands up and grabs his sweater that is laying on the bed and stands at the door.

"So is like vikklan a thing?" I asked while walking down with him, "I see the way that you look at each other is more than friends not to mention him calling you babe." I say nudging him.

Vikk stops walking and sighs, "Can you keep a secret?" He asked running his hands through his hair nervously. Nodding my head furiously he continued, "Okay vikklan is real. Lachlan and I have been dating for almost a year now."

Not being able to control myself I let out an ear piercing girly squeal that cause Vikk to cover his ears. "Sorry it's just vikklan is one of my biggest OTPs!" I exclaimed while giggling childishly.

Vikk shook his head while laughing then we continued down to meet up with everyone else. Once everyone was accounted for we head out for a long day of shopping.
